Would buy again
Works well. Smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not reading the size. I used it to crush up some caraway seeds for a recipe. It said to toast them first so I don't know if this helped or hurt. They crushed up fairly well but not as small as I would have liked and I worked at it for awhile. Caraway seeds are a dark brown/black and since I was busy with the other parts of the recipe, after I dumped the seeds in my pot I left the item on the counter. Went to wash it a little later and saw it looked a little stained but with a little elbow work the stains came off. Overall, not bad for price compared to others and I won't be using it very often. I would buy again.

Exactly what I needed
Perfect for what I needed it for. My dog will not take his chewable monthly flea/heartworm pill so I have to crush it up and mix it in his food. This mortar and pestle are just what I needed.

This was just the right size to crush vitamin pills
