Chef's Quality Rainbow Sprinkles, 7 lb

I love these sprinkles because they melt in your mouth when I put them in my birthday cake ice cream and they don't have that plastic feeling to them they're quite good quality, I repeatedly buy them over and over they're the only brand I will buy for my business.

I bought these for my sister who has a sprinkle obsession. It has become tradition to buy her sprinkles at varying quantities and types. This year it I wanted to get her a big quantity since she goes through a ton of sprinkles and they had to be rainbow. This was perfect. The container has a great balance of different colors and all of them are bright and vivid. They taste great according to my sister and are higher quality than other brands she claims are too waxy tasting. Overall I am extremely satisfied and amused by the whole purchase so if you too have a sprinkle obsessed love one or just need some good sprinkles this item is a winner.

These are "soft" sprinkles - not the crunchy Rock solid kind. They do not feel "dry" but are also not overly waxy. They are longer than some jimmies but not weirdly long, the colors are very bright (and include blue and purple which is rare and no brown or black). Importantly the colors do not bleed easily, so you can mix them in with a bowl of ice cream and it won't turn the ice cream brown and the dye runs out of the sprinkles. Baked into sugar cookies the color only slightly bleeds. If you came here trying to find the "right" sprinkles, these are the ones! It is an incredible quantity of sprinkles so be prepared for a heavy box. I'm glad I found these because I won't have to worry about finding the "right" sprinkles again for a loooong time.

Great sprinkles. Fresh and delicious

These rainbow Sprinkles are HORRIBLE TASTING if eaten directly from the container. They have a WAXY GREASY MOUTH FEEL and left a film on top of the roof of my mouth! I had to eat a piece of bread to get the greasiness out of my mouth! I purchased these based on a review that stated these were good enough to eat with a spoon! There is NO WAY anyone could eat these out of the container with a spoon without gagging! The reason I gave this product 1 star instead of none was because once I baked them on cookies, they lost that greasy waxy mouth feel and they had an okay taste. I was very disappointed though that they did not hold their shape well in a 350 degree oven and melted, on all my cookies. I do Not understand why I had such a negative experience with this product since it got so many outstanding reviews. I did notify the seller regarding possibly receiving a "bad batch," and requested a replacement. I have not heard back from them. I will update this review if/when I receive a replacement. I would NOT RECOMMEND these because they did not hold up in the oven. The colors melted together and they did not look that appealing. DUE TO THE GREASY, WAXY MOUTH FEEL, THESE ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR AN ICE CREAM TOPPING. In all fairness to the Chef Quality Company, I DID check the expiration date of this product and it was 10-11-2016.

I never realized what I was missing until I bought this ridiculously massive jug of rainbow sprinkles. Now I can have them on a piece of toast with nutella any time I want and I feel like a queen! These sprinkles are high quality -- they actually taste good. And they hold up really well in a "funfetti" style cake, which is the purpose for which I bought them. The one downside is that my toddler is obsessed with them and wants to mash them into the tiny ruts between planks of our hardwood floors. Not easy to clean out of tiny ruts in hardwood floors! So, be smarter than me and don't let your toddler throw them all over the place unless you have tile.

Tasty! The color is a bit dull & the jimmys melt. Takes awhile for them to set & re harden after baking. I do enjoy the flavor & texture! They work for my baked goods others may dislike the bleeding that occurs.

My husband is a Sprinkle fanatic. I gave him this for Xmas and his eyes lit up like a Xmas tree. The first thing he did was pry it open to sample the sprinkles, wrapping paper still in his lap, and he grinned and said approvingly, "These are the right ones!" I asked what made them 'right' and he says they are soft and have the right texture and taste. He then proceeded to eat sprinkles one by one for the next hour as we spent time with his family lol. So, if you know your sprinkles, take that review as you will. I've tried to buy him organic sprinkles but they don't have that nostalgic flavor and texture.
