Packaging has instructions, so you know how much to use. Not as coarse as pretzel salt, but could still be used decoratively. To use in a shaker at the table, put a little raw rice in the shaker with the salt, to help break up the flakes so the salt can exit the shaker holes.

Very clean and consistent texture. Box contains a metal pour spout. I got this to make salts with herbs from my garden and it's the perfect texture.

A great salt for cooking with - intermediate size grain so perfect for focaccia, steaks and other foods that need more than fine grain salt. I'll use standard coarse salt for bulk things like the pasta water - this would be wasted in that.
