This is the fastest way to get this plug attached to a wire. I have been soldering Canon plugs onto cables for many years and anyone can learn how to do it. But larger guages of wire require higher skill levels to get it all to fit. This is a great alternative and I liked the quality. I recommend this product.

Wire is the correct gauge as stated. I would not run 5A continuous thru them because they get hot..
