Waterproof
I love this tarp because of the waterproof material, I live in the Midwest and the sun eats up everything you cover. I put an ATV cover on my ATVs that are parked outside and then I put one of these over the top of it, the Sun will warm the tarp up and it will conform to the shape of the ATV and kind of like welds the wax together for an absolute watertight cover. I've had these for about 3 years now maybe four and not one problem except for maybe a little discoloration from the mold but it doesn't stop the waterproofing. A must-have to cover your cover.

Ring holes can still be pulled out.
Very well made and heavy duty. This makes it a bit heavy to handle.

Used for hammock camping
Great ground cloth for hammock camping. Would have liked if it were waxed to prevent water absorption. Good nonetheless.

A good canvas tarp is hard to find. This one is well done!
Never try to save money, it's too expensive!! That's also true about tarps. The more you spend, the longer it'll last. This 18oz canvas is military grade and withstands my area's Arizona sun! Thinner canvas tarps I've bought last about three years. The 18+ ounce tarps get a full 12 years or more. So, when you do the math the thicker tarps are actually the cheapest route to go (assuming you need tarp protection all those years).

Will stain your hands and clothing
Horrible product. First off. What ever they used to color the canvas smears all over the place, runs when the sun hits it and drips and stain anything below it.I attempted to wash this tarp by hand after receiving to remove this chemical what ever it is. It turned the canvase into a slimy sheet when it got wet and turned the wash water instantly mustard color. You cant touch the tarp without it transferring a mustard color oily slime onto your hand. And it it happends to touch your clothing, instantly stains it.Dont be fooled like I was.Oh and the smell, that's not wax smell. It's very chemically smell, very strong and nearly takes your breath away.I purchased the tarp to bring with me for a Survival Training Course. We have to sleep in a shelter using this and sleep in a hammock made from this....Not going to happen. I cant even touch it without staining my hands

As Described
It's a good quality tarp. It's canvass and will need periodic treatment to stay waterproof in the Florida sunshine but overall it is what it says. It does what it was purchased for - to cover a lawn mower.
