Terrible returns process.
I really wanted to like these trousers as they would have been great for travelling. However, when they arrived they were way too big and baggy. They were also delivered from the US so tool longer than normal Prime deliveries. I ordered a 32" waist, 32" leg but they were more like a generous 34"/34". They were really loose fitting too (probably made for the more flattering American sizing I expect as they are an American brand). To be fair, if they were a much slimmer fit and the right size they would have been good trousers as the quality is there. Anyway, decided they were no good so started the returns process. What a joke. I was given two options, the first one I had to pay for and the second was to drop off at a UPS collection site. I chose the drop off option as it wouldn't cost anything but what a pain it is. The UPS store locator was giving me wrong information, the first shop I went to on the list doesn't take UPS drop-offs, so that was a wasted journey. Then the second one I walked to (1.5km away!) told me that they needed THREE copies of the invoice that gets printed as part of the returns process. Due to Brexit apparently (despite these going back to the US). I was told he "could" take them for me but there's a risk that the driver wouldn't accept them and they wouldn't be returned - how I would ever know that I don't know because the shop doesn't have my contact details. So now I've got to print off another few copies of the invoice (despite one being attached to the return package). It's all such a pain for the customer having to do this and I don't know why either Amazon or UPS don't tell you that you need to print three copies of the invoice before setting off to the collection points. Complete waste of my time.
