I've bought five of them
I love these blankets!! I see people complaining that they aren't cooling, but remember it's not about cooling you down; it's about not retaining heat like most blankets do. You won't wake up in a pile of sweat with these. I've bought several of them and would love to have them in other colors too. They are extremely breathable! Perfect when you need a cover but don't want to feel stuffy or overheated. They are lightweight, and I've had no issues with washing them in the washing machine and drying them in the dryer. I dry them with wool balls and it makes them super soft - I don't know why people are saying these aren't soft because they definitely are (you can't compare sherpa to bamboo blankets; perhaps that's what people are expecting). Highly recommend! These are my favorite couch, napping, and travel blankets.

My Family LOVES this blanket
It doesn’t feel the softest when it arrives and the letter that arrived with it was printed in English but it was backwards. So it was kind of like those “secret message” things when you use a mirror to read it be able to read it. It does work though! When I go to bed, I feel just warm enough to fall asleep comfortably and I don’t wake up in the middle of the night kicking it off. Also I feel like the more I wash it, the softer it gets. I don’t use fabric softener or dryer sheets, just detergent and borax and it definitely gets the job done. The directions say to line dry it but not in the sun, so definitely make sure to wash it first thing in the morning so you have all day for it to dry. I haven’t risked throwing it in the dryer yet, but if I do I’ll update my review.UPDATESo I’ve bought a second blanket since because my sister stole mines 😂. It has since been in the dryer and I have not seen any significant changes in the blanket.

Cooling yet warm without the "sweat". Shrunk a ton though...
Ok, so I still love this blanket regardless (it's so thin not sure if it constitutes as a blanket or very thin throw or even maybe a sheet- but still I love it); However, following the washing instructions, just as its directed, it shrunk a TON. Softness and the silky smooth feel kept just fine but it's now so small and short and distorted it doesn't cover me as much as it did before. Maybe half the size. Was pretty bummed. Besides that, I've slept so well using this during the summer. Don't use my flat bed sheet anymore, just this and another light blanket if I need it. I'm told I'm a hot ass sleeper. Like sweating. Basically, don't touch me and no im not comfortable myself. I'll be cold and want a blanket, but then I'll sweat through the night. Don't nobody want that!!! Suuuper duper light weight but also still nice and cozy at night. It's SO breathable (the power of bamboo), I haven't had a hot nights sleep yet. It's literally like sheet-thin though so don't expect it to be anything but. Regardless of shrinking, I do sleep better. I wouldn't buy this exact product again due to the shrinking/washing aspect. If you luck out on that better than I did following the instructions (I mean, how do you mess that up when there's 1 or 2 directives), it def does what it says it's supposed to do, and that's stay cool and feel oh so soft.

Perfect lightweight, breathable, pretty blanket
(August 2020) After trying bamboo sheets a few months ago, I was an immediate convert. I bought several sheet sets and extra pillowcases, and then got a bamboo weighted blanket too. I love the way bamboo bedding can keep me warm enough without causing me to wake up overheated and sweating during the night! I needed a bamboo blanket for an extra layer between the top sheet and the weighted blanket, and for nights when I don't want the weighted blanket. This blanket is very thin, but has a bit of weight and drape to it. Folded in half, it's a perfect light throw blanket for napping on top of the covers during the day. It's also an excellent extra layer for my bed when my silk-filled duvet isn't quite enough warmth, or when it's too warm but I want a bit more weight and warmth than just the top sheet alone. The sheen of the bamboo fibers and the small diamond pattern of the knit are very attractive, too! It's a great value for the price and I'm very happy with it.Update July 2023: This blanket does arrive with a very soft, silky hand and a pretty sheen due to the bamboo fiber it's made of, and retained them for a couple of years of semi-regular use and gentle care (though it did shrink noticeably after the first wash); three years later, after lending it to a friend who did not care for it properly, and put it through normal wash and tumble dry cycles, it is still somewhat soft, but has lost its sheen and its silky feel, and has pilled a fair amount. I suspect the person who said this blanket is rough, and not soft at all (and implied that all the good reviews were fake - ??), probably received a used and returned one. I just bought another one to replace it and will not be lending it out, lol.

perfect for its intended use!
My spouse is a hot box. Always runs warm, even in the winter. We have a dog who likes to spend time in our bed, and has a habit of bringing the outside inside on his fur. Because of these reasons, I like to have a lightweight blanket on the bed, so I don't have to sleep in whatever the dog brings in, and the spouse doesn't 'bless' me with extra covers.Pros:- lightweight- easy to launder- pattern doesn't leave marks / impressions on your face- cotton- breathes- soft (softens more over time with additional washes; out of the package it's 'stiff')- perfect summer weight blanket (you don't want heavy covers, but you also need something to keep from freezing)Cons:- none so far ... we've had and used this for several months now, and I honestly don't have any negatives. On its first washing, it left a lot of lint behind. However, I don't see that as a con, as it is cotton. I really love this blanket, and it has been a wonderful addition!
