TARION Overhead Tripod Mount

This overhead tripod mound it a great product! I used it for a more unorthodox use, to mount my lightburn laser camera above my working area. It did the job exceptionally well and enables me to use the camera to set up my projects with little effort. The tripod is sturdy and well made. It is flexible, but holds it's position when set very well. It comes with a phone holder and a camera screw mount. The clamp is also very effective on my glass table and has not damaged it. Very good product for a wide variety of uses. Highly recommended. I hope that you found my review helpful.

Cheap cheerful way to get a permanent hold on your phone if your found demos, etc. Very simple to use, screw clamp onto any surface and positioning by many pivots, all can be tightened. There is a spring loaded clamp on the end, you will need to take your phone out of bulky curved cases. If you’re positioning top down on to a desk, view, well for me it hasn’t fallen out once, if your phone is bulky, heavy then you may have problems facing straight down. Fantastic value for what it can do. Recommended to anyone who needs a tripod like stand, in a flexible arm.

i honesty was sceptical this was going to fit my samsung s23 ultra with a fairly thick case on but it actually does haha. it quite amazed actually as not many arms do and build quality is not bad at all for the price great stuff

Despite it's rather low cost I am finding this is working well to support an iPhone SE2, for desk video where the phone is looking down at the desk. In fact I have it permanently clipped on to a shelf in the office now and swing the arm around when I need to film. It stays in place (I have removed a couple of springs mind you). The spring holder is fine, these are always a bit of a fiddle but they all are. Definitely a product I can't live without now as I can't think of any other way of doing a desk shot looking right down without some elaborate, expensive or slow to set up tripod/rig. Note though I am using it with a small phone. I am unsure whether this would be suitable for heavier set-ups like mirrorless cameras. The reason I use a phone BTW is they close-focus so much better than bigger lenses on mirrorless cameras. For those interested, my set up is this arm going to an iPhone SE2, remote controlled using Filmic's apps on an iPad which I use on the desk as a monitor and to start/stop recording.

I bought this cuz I wanted to take a few videos, won't go into detail, but when you have the thing set up it's great however, the problem comes in when the part that attached the pole and the vice become loose, making it difficult to set up. There is also the fact that the little dish to stop you from boaring a hole in your table? That fell off, though I take the blame for that one, I wound it too tight. My problem now though is the vice grip is stuck to my table and I cannot remember how to get it off, which direction it turns in and since it was wound tight by me trying to undo it, it has now made a hole in the underside and I can't undo it, the handle thing has bent....over all 3/5, wish it was a little more posable but not bad.

Very flimsy and feels very cheap. Threw it in the garbage immediately. A little bit difficult to assemble. Don;t recommend.

Easy to put together, didn't even need the instructions. Tested with my Samsung galaxy S20 FE and fits perfectly. It's kinda fiddly to get the phone in but you want it to be secure! I recommend taking the phone holder off, putting you phone in the screw that section back on. Definitely recommend this product for the purpose of filming from above.

Slightly wobbly when interacting, but not so wobbly to ruin it, as it settles pretty quickly. Otherwise secure and sturdy enough for its job. It is very easy to assemble, consisting of screw tighteners and no separate pieces, and the phone mount holds my A71 well enough, although I need to remove the case. It so far seems secure enough to not worry about that.
