This was super easy to install and so far has held up to about 1000 rounds with no issues.

Best riser mount I’ve ever had!
Love this riser by Vortex! I purchased a couple of the cheaper no-brand risers about a year ago, but they quickly rattled loose, or the quick release clamp wore out after a few times of attaching and detaching the riser mount from the rail. This vortex riser mount is a different story. It’s built out of very high quality materials and the quick release lever mechanism is a really awesome design. It’s adjustable based on the specifics of your rail (there’s always some level of variance in rail width from gun to gun), and the lever has a secondary lock that keeps the lever from rattling loose after hundreds of rounds. My vortex Venom red dot fit perfectly on the riser mount, so no issues there! My venom and riser mount held the dialed-in zero even after multiple times of detaching and reattaching it to my firearm. The riser comes with different optic hex screws that fit the thread of the riser screw holes, but the provided screws fit perfectly in the Venom’s screw mount holes. I used a tiny bit of Loctite on the screws just to make sure the screws don’t get loose over time. The price is pretty insane for a riser mount, but it’s honestly worth the price when you consider the quality, the ease of use, innovative mechanics of the lever, guaranteed lifetime warranty, and custom-perfect fit for the Venom optic.I have several other venoms on a few of my other SBRs, and I plan on buying more of this riser once my firearms fund has been replenished.I highly recommend if you can get over the price. I thought I would have “buyers remorse,” but glad I went ahead and bought it.I’ll update my review if I run into any issues over the coming months.

This adapter is great
I recently purchased a target pistol and wanted to add on a red dot optic. This was the perfect adapter to combine them both. I've taken this to the range a couple of times now and it worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Vortex quality, best price on Amazon
It's a good mount and the quality you'd expect from Vortex. Perfect fit onto the rail, perfect fit on the Vortex Venom sight. I did not need to adjust the tensioner but if you have big fingers it may be a challenge. This mount is $129 on other websites.I already had the Venom 3 MOA sight which is why I went for this mount. If I didn't have that already, I'd have gone for the Holosun HS510C or similar. Something to consider. This was a good option to have a red dot on my new build without a $300+ purchase.

Works well after I fiddled with it
Added this to my CZ Scorpion's pic rail, so I could use my Vortex micro red dot. Took it to my gun club and the lever became loose and the mount popped off after about 100 rounds. Remounted it, and it came loose again. When I got home, I went to work on it. In order to get it super snug, I needed to remove the little screw that holds the lever in place. I then repositioned the lever so that it put the most pressure on the plate that puts pressure on the pic rail. I had to do some trial and error to ensure the lever fit snuggly under the retaining "clip thing". That worked. It won't be going anywhere now and gives my Vortex Viper a nice lift.

Perfect for AR15 with Venom site
It was just what I needed to get absolute co-witness with the venom sight on my AR15. Perfect height using Magpul Mbus flip ups. Kind of expensive in my opinion after spending the money for the sight though.
