PYvideo Backup Camera with Tailgate Handle for Tundra (2007-2013) for Universal Monitors (RCA)

Very easy install and it looks original! Although the camera faces down, it actually does give you about 30ft of back up view. I was about to give this four stars for image quality, but after messing with the display settings on my avic-d3, it looks great! Ultimately, for the price and the money you save from installing it yourself, it's a great buy.

I am still working on installing it but my initial impression is that the tailgate handle itself is VERY flimsy compared to the factory handle. It seems to work better if you open it by grasping the right hand side of the handle. One positive is that the video cable is really long so you should have no problems running it from the tailgate to the cab of the truck.I will update this review once I complete the installation.

I was skeptical when I purchased this camera, but after having it for 5 months, it has far exceeded my expectations! The picture quality is outstanding, and is better than the factory camera in my other Toyota. It even works well at night. Installation was easy, and came with plenty of cable for the wire run. The handle also seems to be good quality, but you have to favor the right side of the handle to open the tailgate. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking.

Like others have mentioned the handle is not up to par with the OEM but for the price I could live with it. The issue that I had was the camera would not show a picture. I tried it on a few devices just to rule out head unit issues but still nothing. The tech support isnt that great but current working with them to either replace the faulty camera or just package everything up and send it back and look for a better quality product. Will update how things work out.

Great product and great customer service! There was not an install video on the website for my particular vehicle, so I emailed them, and I immediately got an email back with a link to an install video for my truck. Install was very easy, and latch works perfectly. Camera provides a very clear picture and guide lines to help with backing up. Definitely recommend!

Installation was very easy, the camera is very clear. The tail gate latch looks like original.

Awesome product. Video quality is better than my other Tundras stock camera. Best Customer Service on Amazon. I had a few questions with the product after purchasing and they respond within minutes . Installed perfectly, and has a great picture but the camera doesn't point dead center like the factory camera would. It doesn't really bother me, but it's worth mentioning.
