LEXIVON Genuine Butane Torch Soldering Iron - Standard Solder Tip | Compatible with LX-770 and LX-771 Models (LX-TIP-ST)

I bought this to replace the catalyst on a Dremel 2000 Versatip and it worked flawlessly. You do have to modify the catalyst but it's very simple to do with a drill and file. I just chucked it up in my trusty Ryobi 1/2in and went to town on the upper part of the two-part flange on the catalyst. The tips are all good quality overall and everything functions as it should.

I think these tips will work well with my handheld blow torch for jewelry making. I haven't used them yet, but they seem to fit well.

Have had an LX-770 for 3~4years and finally the catalyst just wasn't holding the heat it needed and the gas just kept blowing it out.With a new one, my iron is LIKE NEW! And for just a few extra dollars, I got a new tip with it to fall back on!

They lose tin fast, should buy a tin paste to fix it

Was not sure they would thread into the power probe soldering iron i bought years back but they fit perfect . Great deal

This item is NOT compatible with the Dremel Versatip due to the taper just before the lip at the bottom of the catalyst.Using a lathe this is fixable, but not everyone has access to one, and it's pretty annoying that I had to do that in the first place, despite the description stating that it would be compatible.Apart from that discrepancy, it seems to be of high quality.

Pro:Passen perfekt im Dremel 2000 Versatip.Contra:Sehr billiges Metall.Verformt sich unter Hitze sehr schnell in alle Richtungen.Bricht sehr schnell beim Abkühlen.

Although this does not fit the Dremel Versatip, the catalyst can easily removed with some tweezers and inserted into the versatip part.
