Logitech M500 Wired USB Mouse

This is my second mouse from Logitech, I have a wireless and wired one.Great value for money, very sturdy and the perfect shape and size of it fits perfect in my hand, speed of the scrolling and where the buttons are placed are just perfect as you can switch the functionality of the buttons.Great quality will deffo purchase again.

A good mouse for a static setup and a decent size for large hands.A weak point is that the buttons for changing the pointer sensitivity are easily pressed accidently - irritating.

Been using it 8 hours daily for the past 3 months, and I couldn't be more pleased. My hand doesn't tire and all the buttons function flawlessly. And the hard-wired connection ensured that the mouse was always online. Highly recommended!

With mice, you basically get what it says on the tin. It does the job. What mainly lets this mouse down is the mousewheel. Apart from the annoying brrbrbrrrrbrbrbrr rattle you get from spinning it, as a middle mouse button, you really have to press hard to register. Even beyond the 'click', it'll sometimes not select unless you press further.

I've been using the Logitech M500 mouse for just under a year and while it works well enough for movement, the middle button on the scroll wheel is just awful. Its difficult to get it to register that the button has been pressed and which is something that others have noted in reviews. This is something that even cheap £5 mice can do well so why can't Logitech get it right on this when they have done so on others. I recently found a 20 year old Microsoft Intellimouse in a box so I've gone back to using that and which works so much better. The M500 has gone into the box maybe to never be used again.

Bought to replace an older model where the microswitch bounce was too bad to ignore any longer.Was actually cheaper through their Amazon Store than direct from Logitech in Ireland (unless you're buying multiple items or they have a current offer - always worth a look!)Despite the comments, haven't noticed much wear with constant (6-10 hours daily) use though they will wear eventually (my older one had a thumb groove, little finger groove and shiney, smooth palm!).I find the M500 fits nicely in my palm, the button are firm without being noisy and the track wheel smooth in operation. If you find the screen travel is too fast/slow goto the Control Panel and tweek the setting under mouse until you get the response you want/need.My Wife has used MS mice all her working life and gets on well with the M500 and she agrees it fits her smaller hands quite well too for prolonged use.

Stopped working after barely using it for 2 months. Won't connect to any device. Can't get a refund through amazon as I bought it over 30 days ago and Logitech are very hard to contact.Buttons felt cheap and flimsy when it did work. Would definitely not recommend.

This review is for Logitech M500s which is uses a sensor instead of a laser for tracking. This is by far the best mouse I have ever used. I operate it in the free wheeling mode all the time and going back to the click wheel function feels very odd indeed. Browsing is effortless as you can scroll extremely quickly just with a spin of the wheel. Paired with 'Just Another Scrolling WE' Firefox plugin, the mouse is very, but not totally smooth, especially if one line scrolling is enabled in Windows. The side or horizontal scrolling function is something I use regularly as well especially in Photoshop and Lightroom. Highly recommended.

Mükemmel bir ofis faresi. Almayı düşünenler kablosuz versiyonu M705'i de düşünebilirler ama onun biraz daha küçük olduğunu göz önünde bulundursunlar. Bende ikisi de var ve ikisi de çok güzel fareler. Ergonomileri güzel, tekerleklerinin sağa ve sola itilebilmesi güzel. Sürtünmesizlik özelliğini ben kullanmıyorum, alışık olmadığım için tuhaf geliyor sanırım ama eminim seveni vardır.
