It actually works on plasti dipped wheels
I can’t speak for other but seeing the negative reviews had me a little cautious. It works wonders for me. My wheels are actually plasti dipped. The product works as intended would buy again. I had thick layers of plasti dip and after a couple layers of sprays, it came right off with a pressure washer.

Best Way to Remove Pasti Dip!
The media could not be loaded. I sprayed all the chrome and rims on my car with Plasti Dip 4 years ago, but now that I’m selling the car, I needed to remove all of it to revert the vehicle back to it’s stock exterior. At first, I was going to try to remove all of the Plasti Dip by hand, but I quickly learned that that was going to be extremely taxing and time consuming. I originally put 5 coats of Plasti Dip on each part of the vehicle that I sprayed, so I needed a product that was going to make removing the dip quick and easy.It took me several hours to finish, but that’s because I had 5 layers to remove and I was taking my time. I wanted to remove all of the Pasti Dip in 1 setting since I planned to sell the vehicle soon and didn’t wait to get drenched by the back-spray from the pressure washer more than once. Since time was of the essence, I decided to purchase some Dip Dissolver to make this project go as smooth as possible.Removing Plasti Dip is as simple as it sounds… Just spray and wait 2 to 3 minutes, then spray again and wait another 2 to 3 minutes. After that, you can pressure wash the area and it comes right off.I read online about a few other ways to remove Plasti Dip, but I was skeptical of those methods. I know Dip Dissolver works and I would highly recommend going this route and using this product if you need to remove Plasti Dip from your car because it the easiest, safest, and most efficient method.

Liquifies plastidip coatings quickly and easily.
I got a spectacular deal on a set of wheels for my car, but they were dipped and really didn't look great. I removed the dip from the first one with just a pressure washer, but it was time consuming and messy. So I tried this, and it liquified the dip, making removal with the pressure washer quick and easy. It also removed some of the built up rubber deposits on the bead of the rims, and the wheels came out looking brand new. This was really great for getting into the little detailed spots, like the holes for the valve stems.

Works great
Genuinely works phenomenal. Had some dip ~6 years old and pretty thin + burned from UV. 2-4 sprays as suggested + plastic brush chucked in a drill took all the old dip off. Much better than rubbing it all off by hand

IT FLIPPIN WORKS!
So, i was skeptical like many on here looking for that plastidip mishap/ lack of research. Too thin though it would look cool splattered on (it does look epic) however i grew tired of looking at it a re painting it and decided to remove it after a few years. Midwest weather is harsh as many know. This remover removed the salt-ridden heat Baken mirror snow reflecting bs of a rustbelt that has 150+degree swings from seasons. now it is working was a crazy Suprise and how easy it was. almost reminds you of a smell like that old citrus cleaner for wood. bottle could be made better to prevent spills and ect but besides that GREAT PRODUCT TO REMOVE STUCK ON PLASTI

It Works 100%
I already had in mind I was going to return this because it wouldn’t work. Only after one spray all the Plasti dip wiped off. It was a light spray of Plasti dip which I couldn’t peel. It was on for about four years. This product is an easy spray and 20 seconds later rubs off. Worth the buy !!And yes, I’m a client not a paid client for this product.Ps. The smell is nice.

It does work...
It does work, my bumpers were black plasti dip, it started getting nicks and peeling off in places so it was time to remove it. It takes about 3 to 4 applications. I used a 3m green scrub pad, a scrub brush, a screw on pressure nose, and for the stubborn spots a plastic puddy knife. It took about 45 min to do both bumpers. Plasti dip definitely does not peel off like the brand sas Spary it once, let it sit for about 5 min, hit it with the scrub brush. Spay again and use the scru brush again. It should be mostly liquid. Spray it down with the hose. Respray the remaining areas with the solvent. Let it sit for a couple min. Scrub with the 3m pad. Rinse with water. Whatever remain spray agsin with the solvent, let sit, use whichever tool u need to to remove the last bit. Rinse. Done. It wasnt too time consuming or difficult. I posted a pic of the remover bottle and how much I had left after 2 bumpers. Worth the $$
