Great ladder
Was the perfect size for a small Class B (TransVan) it mounted very securely to the back of the unit. I give it 4/5 for sturdiness, because it came in pieces. It's not as rigid as a solid ladder, but it supports my 220 lbs, and looks great on my camper. Also, the top loops came off, which allowed me to adapt it to a rounded roof. I give it a 4/5 on easy to install because it was a little difficult to install. I had to find studs, mark them, level it, and then the roof was curved. I would say that I'm expert (30 year) auto and RV mechanic. It took me about 2.5 hours to install. Also, I provided my own stainless screws for mounting. Some were included, but I preferred the ones I bought.

I really liked it. found it to be ideal
I really liked it. found it to be ideal, lightweight, strong, versatile. I am pretty handy and make some minor adaptions as i have a small 17 TT with a curved back and very limited area width wise due to position spare tire, lights and cabinets. I was able to adapt it to fasten bottom to the bumper. Everything fitted well, came supplied with necessary hardware and bolts. Well worth the money!!

Decent ladder for the money, poor instructions
Ladder was decent, but like many other companies, they don’t like to waste any time making clear directions you had to be able to figure out hieroglyphics what a shame today how companies operate.

Great unit
It comes in two pieces that fit together very well. It was only the lower four feet of my old ladder that was damaged so, I cut the old ladder at the point where the lower part of the new unit was made to slip inside the top half (of the new unit) and fitted that section into the good part of the old ladder. Worked beautifully and was a lot less work then replacing the entire unit! Otherwise, the rooftop section would be in a totally different place, requiring roof repair also. I used all the old "stand-offs" and added a couple of new screws to each stand-off. Much more sturdy now.Rodger Morales6/23/14

One size fits all does not fit my RV. ...
One size fits all does not fit my RV. It is 8 inches too long as it extends below the door to check engine oil. It does not fit my old brackets which are rivited in so if i take them off I am left with holes in the rear and top of my RV. Instructions are worthless. Made of much cheaper material than origional ladder.

Very well-made when installed properly, easily holds a 300 lb man
Very easy to install you definitely need a hand saw with a metal blade or a sawzall with a metal blade tape measure and level and definitely get a good quality Small Tube of silicone and then you are good to go very sturdy I weigh almost 300 pounds and I go up and down this ladder and it is feels very sturdy and holds me no problem

The ladder itself is pretty sturdy, but it is not "Universal" fit
I bought this ladder for my 1994 Tioga Montara, which has a straight back. Unfortunately for me, the edge where the roof meets the backwall is curved. This ladder would work if that edge was 90 degrees, but on mine the roof mounts were too short and came down on the curved part where there is no stud to mount it too. Luckily for me, there was an electrician at work who was able to bend some pipe for me which I was able to use. The ladder itself is pretty sturdy, but it is not "Universal" fit.
