Pain relief
I’ve had progressively worse metatarsals to the point of being out of options! Found these and finally some relief. I aso recommend putting under the shoe pads. Fitting them is tricky like that but it works. And they are expensive and yes I’m going to have to buy in bulk! Worth every penny because I can walk without constant pain.

Great Product
I have been using these for years. I love them. They MUST be placed correctly in the shoe or else they will cause discomfort. Dry fit them without removing the sticky backer and get an idea of where they should go and when you go to actually put them in, be gently about pressing them down so you can peel them back out if they need to move a bit. The next suggestion, get a pair of cheap insoles to go over them, that way if they lose some of the sticky when you move them, you have the insole to act as a buffer when you put shoes on and off. These things save my flat feet from lots of pain when Im on my feet for hours. I couldnt imagine having to do so without them now that I have had them. Im also happy Amazon is now selling them as I used to go to HAPADs site and buy them 5 at a time to save on shipping and just leave the unused ones in a drawer. Every pair of shoes and boots gets these.

Metatarsal Arch Pads for ball-of-foot pain
For anyone with ball-of-foot pain these pads may be tried before going to a podiatrist. Twice, I have had pain in the ball of my feet, first one foot, then years later, the other. The first time the doc told me to try the metatarsal pad and low and behold, the pain went away almost immediately. I continued to wear the pad for a couple of months or so and then stopped using it. The pain has not returned and it's been over 5 years. Now I have the problem in the other foot and bought several of these pads (to install in different shoes & hiking boots). I stopped limping immediately, but still have a small amount of pain. I'll try the pads for a month or two to see if the problem goes away; if not, I'll have to see the podiatrist and may be looking at surgery: yuck.I am a 66 year old male with size 9 feet. The pads come with install instructions and a permanent adhesive backing that is fully exposed when you figure out the best location. I stick them on inserts in my shoes, so that if I don't need the pads any more, I can pitch the inserts.

Does require getting use to these
I have plantar fasciitis and was given a set of these by my podiatrist. I found they worked and relieved a great deal of the pain I experienced. I sent a set to my middle sister and she is getting good results as well. They do take a little time to adapt to them in a pair of shoes.

Break-in period
Worked for me. Experiences numbing of foot, especially forefoot, using machines at the gym, such as stairmaster and elliptical. These inserts stopped the numbness completely. They are not comfortable, however, and take some getting used to. Mine conformed better to my foot after a couple of weeks usage. A good trade-off for me.

Works!
Just what the Dr ordered. The adhesive is durable, once you finalize the placement, it won't budge.

These actually do what they say.
Really elevates my instep. Have no longitudinal arch to speak of and I have Morton’s neuroma. This elevates instep so that less weight is on the ball and toes. Less curling of the second toe as I walk. Maybe I can actually keep a toenail from continually bruising and falling off. The pad is thicker than anything I have previously tried and takes a bit of getting used to. But to work properly it needs to be thick.
