****Update. 6/18/21 Verbatim forwarded an update which has corrected the below issue. Drive is now accessible and works correctly. I can tell you for sure that anyone using Windows 10 will no longer be able to use or access the Verbatim Secure Pro USB. This drive requires Adobe Flash Player to function. The problem: Adobe Flash Player officially ended on December 31, 2020. As such, a Windows 10 update removes Adobe Flash Player for good. This is a forced update. The exact update removing Adobe Flash Player is: (Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based systems (KB4577586)) Due to this, this Verbatim Secure Pro WILL NOT work. Verbatim support is well aware of the problem and has been giving me the same false information for months. The drive is now useless. Feel free to research this information I have provided. It is fact. Save yourself the headache.

Do not buy this. It requires Adobe flash player which Microsoft is deinstalling because it is no longer supported due to security exposures. NOW I CANT ACCESS THE FILES ON THIS FLASH DRUVE! Verbatim has said for several weeks that they are working on a fix but so far nothing. They should not be selling a flash drive you can no longer use.

Although advertised and sold as compatible with MAC, it is not. It is clearly designed to work principally with Windows PCs. MAC is only a stepchild. The Store'n Go, at least under OS Ventura and probably later, functions, if at all, extremely erratically, can even completely remove files, while saving, from your hard drive. The User Manual is . . . useless, the instructions inapplicable to MAC. Software upgrades are available only for Windows. So, if you're a MAC user, look for something MADE for MAC. This definitely is not it.

Very good password prompt and reliable at that, and the password software is secure and not erasable, which good.

Plug it in and it prompts for password set up. After that it is secure. Works on Mac and Windows (both 7 and 10). Fits in pocket comfortably with no worry about losing cap.

This requires flash player, latest version. Adobe support for flash player ends December 31, 2020 and computer says it requires that in order to open files on this flash drive. AS SUCH all the info I stored on this device can no longer be viewed by me because the window that would normally open to enter pass word is unable to open because flashplayer no longer functions on any of my computers.

Tener en cuenta que en ningún sitio (info producto vendedor en web AMAZON ni en web VERBATIM) se indica que el hardware del pendrive requiere que el ordenador tenga instalado el ADOBE FLASH PLAYER para INTERNET EXPLORER, pero éste desde finales del año 2020 ya no se ofrece (por fallos de seguridad).

Ottimo supporto clienti. Con l’ultimo aggiornamento di Windows il software ha smesso di funzionare causa rimozione di Adobe Flash Player. Dopo aver scritto all’assistenza mi hanno risposto mandandomi il link per scaricare il nuovo software aggiornato. Da segnalare, comune, che si possiede versione di Windows PRO, bitlocker permette di fare la stessa cosa (protezione dell’unità usb con una password) con qualsiasi tipo di pennetta usb

Bis zum WIN 10 Update -Löschung des Adobe Flash Player- alles prima!! Sehr zufriedenstellendes Arbeiten mit dem Secure USB.Stick. Und nun?? Ich hoffe , daß es von Verbatim oder von wem auch immer eine Möglichkeit geben wird den Stick wieder zu beleben!!! ..sonst sind alle Passwörter etc. weg. Mehr Ärger am PC durch so eine Softwarelöschung geht nicht. Überings meine 2 Sticks habe ich erst am 21.01.2021 gekauft! Wo war der Hinweis, das sie ohne den Flash Player nicht funktionieren!!??
