This movie centers around the plot of Dorothy (Judy Garland) unintentionally ending up in another world and having to be a hero/helper to her new friends who are also dealing with their issues. When I was living in Orlando Florida, I found out through some written material in one of my classes that this movie also helped provide a positive escape for many of the people who were alive during the 1930's depression era. Does not play
I purchased this in April, but had saved it to watch with my granddaughter today. It will not play on my DVD player, nor will it play on my PC. On the box, in small print , it says "not for sale outside USA or Canada". Is this the reason that it is not working? If so, I will need to return it for a refund. Both very disappointed.
