With over 60 years sewing experience, I learned decades ago to ALWAYS PRE-WASH and dry 100% cotton fabric unless stated it was pre-shrunk. It is typical for 100% cotton to shrink about 3 inches per yard length and at least an inch or more in width. As predicted, the 43.5 in wide x 87.5 in long piece shrunk. This piece, true to form, shrunk down to 41.5 in wide x 82 in length. (Minus 2 inches width- 5% x minus 5.5 inches length -6%). Not a problem. The original order was for 2 yards and the retailer cut gave me an extra 15.5 inches of length! Thanks so much.I long ago stopped trying to "be my age", so when I made up these pj bottoms and modeled them for my 5 year old granddaughter, she thought I was SO COOL with the assorted woodland critter babies!. SCORE ONE for the 78 year old g'ma. Because flannel frays a lot when washed, I made flat-fell seams for center front and center back and top stitched them.. For the sides and inside legs, I kept the wide 5/8 inch seams, serged them and then top stitched those also. This pair of PJ bottoms will last "FOREVER". As a 'safety' precaution in case the elastic gets an attitude and stretches-out over time, I made two button holes on the inside of the waist band and inserted a 54 inch pink flat shoe lace to tighten the waist if need be. Even with frequent washings, fabric has stayed soft and comfy over the nearly 3 months since I've been wearing them. Photos are after the 3 months and now need washing again! M Lane 3/28/25

It was a very cute flannel pattern for backing for a baby quilt!

The cheery animals just put a smile on your face! This works really well with friends that have wildlife themes for their baby showers.

I like the print and the quality. I'm going to make a new baby quilt for a friend.

Love love love this fabric!! Reasonably priced per yard. Shipping costs were reasonable and it didn't take forever to get here! Plus super soft and did I mention so stinking cute??

The quality of the fabric is very good. The print is clear and the weight of the fabric works for sewing. If you need flannel fabric this will be a good selection.
