Good value.
This is added to the feeding tube so most of these items do not apply.

Smells/taste better than Enfamil Fer In Sol but that's not saying much...
My pediatrician told me that my son had low iron during his 9 month wellness visit. He hasn't been a fan of solids and gags/makes faces at pretty much everything we've tried to feed him so trying to getting his iron up has been extremely difficult. We tried the Enfamil Fer In Sol that the pediatrician recommended but that stuff is so nasty....even I want to gag at the strong metallic smell/taste. I wanted to try this as an alternative to see it would be easier for him to take down. I can say that it's been a LITTLE successful but my son still isn't a fan. It doesn't have as strong of a metallic smell/taste so it's somewhat more pleasant. I agree with another reviewer that it would have been way better if it had come with a dropper instead of a cup to measure out the liquid.

Surprisingly not nasty! 👍🏼
I got these iron drops in preparation for my son’s upcoming second year well visit. He drinks a lot of milk… Never more than the recommended amount, but he’s usually right around 24 ounces of dairy a day. You have to be really careful with milk because too much can cause anemia in kids; he’s a very picky eater too, and probably doesn’t get enough iron from foods. I normally give him a liquid multivitamin with added iron, but I’m interested to see what his doctor thinks about adding in an iron supplement only. I tried these for myself, since I’m borderline anemic. It tastes great, although it does have that typical iron smell to it. Mixing it with a little bit of OJ or chasing it with juice seems to cut the smell and taste. The dropper is easy to use and measure out. Definitely check with your pediatrician or doctor prior to starting any sort of vitamins or supplements.... but if they recommend adding in iron, your little ones shouldn’t hate this one! As with all other iron supplements, be sure to offer it on a full stomach or with a hefty snack so it doesn’t cause stomach upset. I usually avoid adding liquid medicines directly to my son’s foods or beverages, in fear it could cause an aversion to that cup/drink/food item. I just suck it up into a syringe mixed with a little gripe water for flavor, and offer an OJ chaser (guess my drinking days have paid off in parenting! 🤣). Hope this helps! 💝

Best when mixed into diluted orange juice for kids
My 16 month old toddlers tested slightly anemic so we've been giving them an iron supplement for several months. This iron supplement is really no different from others out there - it tastes metallic so the only way my toddlers will take it is if I mix it in with diluted orange juice. I usually use 3oz of water and 1oz of orange juice per serving, and that seems to mask the metallic taste enough for them to enjoy. They seem to be tolerating it well without any kind of upset stomach or adverse side effects.

Works Great, Mix with Juice
Great Iron supplement. Very easy for our toddlers to digest. Has helped them out a lot. It specifically states in the directions to mix this with a juice and to take before eating. Most complaints I saw was about taste but they are taking it straight and not following directions. My picky eaters don't even notice it mixed in their juice. Affordable and works great.
