I-Zoom 36 Led Usb or Battery Powered desk Lamp

Right out of the box there are broken plastic chips from the lamp base. You either have to put heavy batteries or something heavy in the battery compartment so it doesn't tip over. I didn't want to use batteries so I just used heavy duty double sided tape to make it stand up. I wanted to use the usb cord for connection but the inside part of the usb connection was also broken in half. I didn't want to risk damaging my computer's usb port so I used a usb hub and it did work. I was surprised. Also the connection where you connect the end of the usb cord to the lamp is misaligned so I had to use my Drummel tool to remove some plastic so the connection could be made. Only reason I didn't return it is because I've been ordering so much lately for birthday and Xmas that I couldn't find the box it came in or the packing slip. it was packaged with several other items. Like I said, it does work if you get a bit creative but I'd say it's worth more like a dollar or two like you'd get from a Dollar Tree store. On the good side, The lighting is bright and I was able to get it to work. Sorry, I really hate to give any kind of negative feedback but I just wanted buyers to be ware.

The I-Zoom LED desk lamp is the same lamp that comes as a number of different names. It has a nice bright white light, a solid switch, and powers from USB or 3 "D" cell batteries. I use a USB AC adapter, but I throw in a couple D batteries to add weight to the base. Without some weight, the lamp will just tip over. I gave it 4 stars because it looked a little rough right out of the box. Not used, but a couple dents in the plastic base. Nothing that affects performance, but this is my third one from different retailers, and different names, and the worst looking. It's not the third because of failures, but because of reliability. All 3 are still in use.

Long story short, I have an area where I needed a reading lamp and wanted a battery powered one. This lamp does not provide enough light for me to read with. If you're looking for a reading light, this is not the one.It works well, just not for reading.

Bright but very light. Plastic broke when it turned over. It requires 3 heavy batteries to secure it from falling. Not worth the money.

This is a very poorly made item, very delicate. I've owned two of these. The light they give off is good. But as soon as you touch or grab it the wrong way, it falls apart. There are better made lamps out there for less.

Bought for my wife who wanted it for knitting. Works as advertised

The led light might be bright but it's harsh.
