Precision Cutting for Serious Hobbyists
These nippers are the real deal. I've been using them for about two weeks now and they’ve quickly become my go-to tool for model making. The cut is incredibly clean, with barely any sprue marks, which means less sanding and a smoother workflow. They have a smooth, high-quality feel and the construction is solid. You can tell right away these are made for precision work. Whether you're just getting into miniatures or you're a seasoned hobbyist, a good pair of nippers is essential and these strike the perfect balance between quality and affordability.

Great - But Some User Setup Required!
I've only had these nippers a short while, but they really impress. The cutting is easy, clean, & precise. I'll leave it to the other reviewers to extol their virtues in detail. This review is more about sharing some practical info. These nippers do leave a tiny amount of material behind for manual cleanup, but it truly is minimal, and it's also by design. When you closely inspect these nippers, you will see that the back side of the sharp cutting bade does not align exactly with the back of the blunt side. This is not a manufacturing error, and the reason is covered in detail in the included manual. In short, it's to ensure that the cutting blade (which is very thin) is not laterally displaced too far during cutting, and fails to accurately meet up with the blunt side - potentially leading to wear or breakage. As mentioned in the headline, some additional user setup may be required for optimal use. Unfortunately, this is not covered in the manual. Throughout reading reviews and learning about usage mistakes which have led to breakage for some users, and watching Youtube videos explaining proper use, I would like to pass on some information that will hopefully be of some help in getting the most life from these nippers. Credit goes to Youtube user "Florymodels" who made a very informative review/tutorial for these specific nippers. In short, there is a "limit regulator" screw that *must* be set up correctly, and which - in my case - was not correctly set up on arrival. Its purpose is to prevent the user from being able to squeeze the handles with more force than is strictly needed to make the intended cut. What you want to do is grab yourself a normal piece of A4 printer paper, and use that as your cutting test subject. Loosen the nut on the limit regulator, and then use the tool included with the nipper to set the position of the regulator precisely at the point where it stops against the opposing grip handle when the piece of printer paper is cut; no more, and no less. If the nippers won't close enough to cut the paper, retract the limit regulator until it can. If the nippers will cut the paper, but the limit regulator is not touching the opposing grip handle, extend the regulatory until it rests directly against the opposing grip handle. When you are finished, tighten the regulator nut, and test again to make sure everything is set up correctly. The limit regulator screw is prone to wear somewhat with time and usage, so be sure to perform this adjustment again every so often... if you don't, it may lead to a shortened life for the nippers. Hope this is of some help!

Excellent quality nipper
Bought these nippers for model making and Gunpla building. I had found that traditional 'scissor' type nippers were crushing the plastic very slightly rather than cutting cleanly through, this left stress marks in the plastic which required a lot of sanding to remove. With these nippers being single edged, they act more like a knife cutting onto a block and the cuts are extremely clean and precise. Some nub marks remain but far less than with other kinds of nippers I have used. The package comes with a nice leather pouch to protect the blades, comprehensive instructions, a tool to adjust the 'stop' point and a cleaning cloth. All round, a very well put together product and kit that performs very well as a top-tier nipper. I cannot compare to God Hand (widely considered the absolute best available) however in the UK these were around half the price of a set of Japanese manufactured God Hands and while I'm sure they are indeed the best, I could not justify the extra expense. The DSPIAE ST-A 3.0 is pretty much perfect in terms of price vs performance and highly recommended.

Great for Gunpla
These single blade nippers are excellent. I use them for building Gunpla, I had a cheaper pair of nippers and these are 100 times better. Leave a nice clean cut, if you are very particular you might still need to clean up your kit a little but you would definitely get away with cutting the nubs close enough with these nippers for an out of box build. The case they come in is also a really nice touch, somewhere to store these nippers to keep them in good shape. Not the cheapest but in my opinion I would say worth the spend. Dspaie definitely make great quality products and I will certainly be purchasing more products in the future based on this purchase alone.

Great but not perfect
The nippers slide through plastic with ease leaving little not no stress marks. My only issue is they, at least the ones I received, were already misaligned. Adjusting the grub screw, which i noticed needed to be done, to the correct position did not fix the misalign from overbite. Despite this the nippers still function better then any of the cheaper ones I got, but for more involved users they should check this and try to get them replaced as needed. If you Nip twice then sand and/or buff as I do this perhaps factory error becomes a non issue. If I only nip twice I world more pressure myself to seek out getting them replaced or getting godhands for the second nip.

Disappointing Quality for the Price
Disappointing Quality for the Price Very poor product. It worked well for a very short time, then went blunt quickly. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability. I’m disappointed and feel ripped off. Definitely not worth the money.

Great Precision
Got the DSPIAE ST-A 3.0 Nipper for my model cutting and it hasn't disappointed. Cuts through small plastic bits with ease and accuracy, perfect for those tiny model details on a sprue. They're not just functional, they also look sleek and come with a handy box and sheath. If you're into model-making, these are a solid pick.

Dieser Nipper ist für Modellbastler ein Muss! Warum?

For the price, these nippers are incredible. I couldn't justify the cost of the godhands over this pair of nippers after reading reviews and watching other modelers use them in their work. I really like the single bladed nippers the best and these things cut very cleanly compared to the cheap nippers I originally used. If you're into building model kits, you need a good pair of nippers and these are worth the money.
