I bought these steps in June 2022 (more than two years ago), when I was trying out alternative ways of getting my dog to the vet. He normally travels in a crate in the back of my Honda CRV and at that time, he could easily jump in or out of the cargo area where I keep the crate. For vet visits, however, he needs to be pre-medicated with two sedatives and he is too groggy to jump in and out. He's a big dog and it's not safe for me to lift him so I thought the steps would help. I really liked them, but for various reasons it turned out to be preferable for my dog to ride in the back seat of the car to and from vet visits, so I did not need the steps. Instead of returning them, however, I decided to keep them for future use when my aging dog would be less mobile. Sure enough, it's now two years later and my guy can no longer safely jump up to get in the crate (jumping down is still OK). I got out the steps and he easily mastered going up, so now we use them every time he needs to get into the car. I love that the step height can be adjusted by simply pulling the steps out further, making it exceptionally easy, safe, and non-scary for my dog to climb up. My dog weighs about 65 pounds and the steps support his weight with no problem. They are very easy to use and I can open them up and get them situated with one hand while holding my dog's leash with the other hand. Folding them up is a breeze and they can be stored in the back seat of the car without taking up a lot of space. This is a great product and I'm so glad I kept them "waiting in the wings" for two years ... they are invaluable to me now. Highly recommend.

I did so much research, read every review and watched every video, because I was sick of buying products my boys wouldn't use or even go near. These stairs are great! They are light weight, easy to use, and sturdy! I appreciate the built in straps to carry them easily. I also like the little clamp that you can use to secure the stairs to the back of the car, although the stairs are heavy enough that the handles will work just fine. I love that the stairs don't move and sway when the dogs are climbing them. I have 2 lab-mastiffs weighing in at 100 pounds a piece, a 65 pound Husky, and a 45 pound mutt I found abandoned that no one seems too know the breed. The little guy loved it, the Husky took a minute but was ok, 1 lab-mastiff wouldn't use them but he has no problem jumping in my SUV so I didn't press, and my other guy - the entire reason I bought the stairs - my 100 pound baby who is killing my back because he is too afraid to jump, well he was not happy but with a lot of begging and a little pushing, he did use the stairs (twice now). I am hoping that the more we use them, the easier it will be. I will update if I come across any problems, but so far, so good! I've actually sent the link to buy these to a few friends already.

This is great. It adjusts to more slanted and deeper steps. I can get my dog in and out of my SUV now.

As our 70 pound dog aged, it became increasingly more difficult for him to jump into the back of our SUV. This product eliminates that issue. It’s incredibly easy for him to simply walk up the stairs into the rear of the SUV. Any pain resulting from jumping in & out of the vehicle is also eliminated. The steps are made of quality material that will last for years yet it’s light and easy to set up. Finally, it folds up into a compact size of 7” x 17” x 20” so it won’t take up much space in the SUV or when storing it in the garage. In short, it’s a fabulous product that really works.

I have German Shepherds and the stairs sometimes collapse. They still work but you can't open to much.

I am very disappointed with this product, I was so excited to get it get these stairs as a present for Christmas. I went to use them the very first time with my dog who can't jump into my large vehicle. I unfolded the stairs walked up and down them a couple times to show her what to do. As soon as she stepped on them the 2nd step from the bottom bowed in on both side. I weight 170lbs these stairs are supposed to support up to 200lbs. my dog weights 140lbs and it was when she stepped on them that they bowed in. { I wasn't on the steps when she stepped onto it} I had it set to the lower level steps as to not scare her with them. Very upset that this has happened. I folded the stairs back up and bent the joints straight again to store them. I am out of my return window and would like the company to replace or offer to return my item.

These stairs are incredible. We have a 103-lb senior dog with mobility challenges. These stairs are perfect for getting him in and out of the car. They are wide, they have traction, they have a gentle incline, and they are very easy to open and close. Love them!

This is a very well made item. The stairs fold out and in easily. The handles hold well to the back of our SUV and it hooked to our back door lock well, so it was secure. The steps are really cute, coated with little animal prints for friction. The ladder can be secured at different heights and easily positioned. My husband and I could not get any of our dogs to use it-an 8 month old to a 13 year old-all different weights and sizes. I thought this would be great for them to get in and out of the back of our SUV. I am disappointed, but would encourage giving this product a try.
