Ninestars DZT-70-R3 Motion Sensor Trash Can, Extra Large, Silver

I like the fact that it has trash & recycling all in the same can & it motion detected. Feels very solid. I do with the los would stay open a little longer, but I won’t knock it down any stars for that because it’s probably the same length as of time as other motion sensor garbage cans. I looked up the best garbage cans on Google when deciding which to get & this was on a few lists. Definitely the nicest garbage can I’ve owned before & even with wanting the lid to stay open longer (I’m getting nit picky with that) I’m happy with the purchase. It feels like it’ll last a very long time.

It was simple to set up just add batteries I’m glad I purchased it. And it’s bigger than I thought.

The top stopped working after less than a year. This was my second NineStars garbage can that didn’t work for as long as I hoped. Supposedly the touchless top is guaranteed for two years. I filed an application for a refund and immediately received a reply saying that a ticket was generated and that a representative would be contacting within five business days. It’s going on a month now. I’ve sent follow up emails. No reply whatsoever.

The bins are an odd shape- not a deal breaker for me.The lid doesn’t stay open long enough. Should be 2 or 3 seconds longer!It does have an “open”, which I think stays open longer!?!? & it has a lock button: locks open or closed. This makes up for sensor-open-duration. And again- not a deal breaker for me!All other features are great:-The can rim trim captures the bags & the can stays clean even after dumping your sloppy junk in.-The footprint of the can is great for my small apartment. The can is wide & shallow but the bin sizes are adequate.I’ve owned three different automatic cans now. This one has been great!

The best 2-compartment green trash can for the money. One compartment for the landfill the other for the recyclables. I love the no-touch system which works flawlessly. The only gripe I have is that I wish each compartment were slightly larger as in 10 gallons versus the 8 gallons per compartment, nevertheless, 5 stars.

This is a great product. It is quiet, long battery life, and made of quality material. I like the dual sides (trash and recycle). I recommend not over stuffing the can as it is challenging to remove the bags. Otherwise the product is a great investment.

Lots of trouble with this opening and closing properly. Had to disassemble by removing about 10 screws several times in order to adjust or reset springs. This time it is just the motor finally. I did order a replacement because - who else makes this kind of dual compartment auto open bin? 🤷‍♂️

This is great if you don't have a lot of space in your kitchen. It is a bit pricey but I love it still!

Had it for less than a month so can’t really speak on its longevity but so far so good. It requires some batteries and can work as a manual bin as well. The sensor is a bit too sensitive though as passing by the bum but not close or beside it would open the lid. Still at least it works!
