A must-have for your Zaku collection
I bought this kit because of the unique color scheme and cool backpack accessory. I was not disappointed with the final result. This mobile suit stands a full head and shoulders above usual Zaku units from the Universal Century. Keep in mind that this kit does NOT have any white plastic parts in the box. Instead you have an pretty sizable included sheet of stickers for color correction. I personally didn’t use these and instead painted all of the detail into the parts since the detailed patterns are already molded into the plastic. I consider it a shame to cover up that raised detail with a sticker which will just get wrinkled. Consider this kit a great way to practice painting with fine-tip paint markers or whatever your preference is. Metallic chrome markers also show up wonderfully on dark plastic like this. The articulation is great in some ways but still somewhat limited in ways. The arms and shoulders a great range of motion forward even with only a single elbow joint and the big spike shoulders can be moved to look good in any pose. The hips are ball-jointed but the front skirt armor can lift quite high so this kit can do impressive front kicks or pull off a crouch on one knees to do a firing pose as pictured on the box. This kit could make nicer dynamic standing poses if the ankles were a little more articulated though. Speaking of which, I wish that the giant rifle had a better range of movement in its attachment to the backpack. It can be posed into shooting poses fine which is what it’s really meant for I suppose.PROS:- Bigger than usual for a High Grade- Movable eye segment with a tab under the head- Articulation is not crazy compared to certain Gundam HGs, but better than most other HG Zaku kits- Unique big weapon and backpack- Unusual color for a Zaku unit- Good surface detailsCONS:- No white plastic so no color separation for decals- Ball-joint hips- Limited articulation on the rifle-backpack connection- No trigger-finger hands for holding other Zaku weaponsAll in all, the Pros outweigh the Cons for me. This thing will look like a commander if you have it standing next to your other Zeon HGs due to its size and imposing silhouette and weapon. If you know how to paint, you’ll have a better result than stickers. The articulation is a mixed bag but more good than bad.

A good, solid kit
A good, solid kit. As fun and easy to build as any High Grade, and it looks amazing out of the box with the stickers. Only problem is difficulty posing the legs due to the sizable weapons that rest on its sides when deployed.

Good kit bad packaging.
A good kit for any gundam unicorn fan looking for a good ww2 german looking mobile suit unfortunately Amazon didn't bother to put it in a box causing it to be partially crushed and they plastered a massive sticker on the front thats impossible to remove without damaging the box.

Great kit! Hideous Sleeves marking stickers though
Great kit! Hideous Sleeves marking stickers though, but that is to be expected! Went ahead and repainted my kit as well. This is definitely a must have for Zeon fans!

Good solid entry from the Unicorn series.
This is one of the first of the new HGUC kits I purchased after getting back into the Gunpla hobby and it is a solid entry and a fun build for anyone into robot modelling. This particular MS is the customized Geara Zulu unit piloted by Gundam Unicorn character Angelo Sauper and what attracted me to buying this vs the standard military green Geara Zulu unit was the unique lavender color and the cool packback/beam cannon accessory. Detail and proportions are very nice on this kit with good articulation in the arms and legs, but not allowing for outlandish poses like the non UC gundam kits, but more in line with the realism associated with 18 meter war machines. Leg artculation is a little restricted with a fixed rear armor skirt but it stands well without falling over and looks good on a MS action base for further posing.Colors come premolded but the kit still benefits from detail painting. The ornate Sleeves emblems on the arms and chest can be applied with stickers or you can do things the hard way like I did with brush paints.Overall a very good kit that will look good on your mantle piece and due to it's solid construction, will easily stand up to a mild degree of play, but keep in mind this is a model kit, NOT an action figure toy. If you want something to play with an abuse, I suggest buying the Robot Damashii action figure version instead.
