How do i get the rat off safely without killing it if i catch it. Ur videos showed everything but that

If you want the animal to live, don't use a glue trap. You can't get anything off here without doing it a great deal of harm.

Can i fold it and have it form like a " house"? Does it work for skinks/ lizards?

You can fold it but I like leaving mine flat. Of course you will need to watch not to step on it ..it may not be possible to have flat with pets around. It will definitely catch lizards. I have caught several ! Once one was on my curtain and I just carefully touched it with a glue trap and voila ! The lizard was stuck !! Easy way to rid yourself of mice, insects, spiders, and lizards.
