This dye has its good sides, but I wouldn’t call it perfect. I can understand the reviews from people who experienced redness or irritation. The ingredient list isn’t ideal, in my opinion, so I think people with sensitive skin or a history of reactions to certain products should be more cautious. If it starts to sting or burn, I would rinse it off rather than trying to wait out the recommended processing time. To me, that’s a pretty clear sign that the skin isn’t tolerating it well. On the positive side, the color looks natural. It comes out much darker than it looks on the box at first, but after a few washes, the shade becomes much more natural and works well. The color gradually washes out with each wash, so it’s definitely not a long-lasting dye and needs to be reapplied regularly. For me, that’s actually part of what makes the result look natural. Even if it doesn’t cover every single gray hair in my husband’s beard, it still looks much better than having a completely black, obviously dyed beard. I would rather have a little gray showing than an unnatural-looking solid color. 😉 I do wish there were more beard dyes on the market that were both longer-lasting and made with a gentler formula. For now, though, my husband uses this one and it’s not bad. It does the job, as long as you’re okay with the shorter-lasting color and paying attention to how your skin reacts.

I'm gonna be real with you, boss. I do not identify as anything masc-aligned and I do not have a mustache and/or beard to dye. I use this to dye my eyebrows. It works WONDERFULLY. Just follow the instructions as you would for a mustache and/or beard and wipe it off. It might be dark for the first couple of days, but you can always use alcohol wipes to lighten it off of the skin. ALSO, please don't forget to put vaseline around your eyebrows so you don't wind up dyeing around your eyebrows. This tends to last for several weeks. The price on Amazon is a few dollars more expensive than in store but I find this difficult to find in a lot of stores for some reason, so... worth it, I guess? I swear by this unauthorized review.

I've been using this for about three months and I'm pretty happy with it. The black color is really dark and covers everything evenly. It's also very easy to apply, which is probably the biggest plus for me. The color lasts around two and a half weeks before I need to touch it up. The only downside is that it can sting the skin a little during application, but it's not a huge issue. Overall, it works well, lasts a decent amount of time, and gives me the deep black color I wanted. I'd buy it again.

I love it. I use it for my eyebrows and it’s really nice doesn’t last that long. in the first few days your skin gets colored too, but it starts fading after 3-4 days. but it still looks natural and you don’t have to keep correcting your eyebrow.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS, AND IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS... AT LEAST WITH MY BEARD U WILL HAVE NO VISIBLE CHANGE IN COLOR. 5 MINUTES IS NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR ME. I LET IT SIT FOR 25 MINUTES AND I GET A SOLID ALMOST BLONDE COLOR. IT LOOKS KINDA UNUSUAL AS IT IS SOLID BLONDE. NO OTHER COLORS OF HAIR SHOW. NO ONE HAS A COMPETELY SOLID SINGLE COLOR. BUT I AM ACCEPTING OF THE RESULTS AS I HAVE NOT FOUND A BETTER ALTERNATIVE. AND IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING COVERAGE, LET IT SIT ON YOUR BEARD FOR LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES AS INSTRUCTED.

I thought my life was complete. I thought I'd seen it all, done it all, had it all and that I could just sit back and relax.... but then; I spotted a grey hair, and then another - at first I thought they were just outliers and quickly plucked them and forgot about them.. until there was another followed by another and yet even more - I realised my beard was slowly turning grey! At first I thought it was okay, I'd be alright, it's just face hair, who cares ? - then I started to notice other mens beards, and all the old boys had greys!... but I didn't want to be old! NO I screamed! I cried and I sobbed for days. I refused to see friends, I refused to see family, I remained hidden from the world, convinced a grave misjustice of the fates had befallen me. I needed a solution. Journeying far and wide, travelling across great distances and undiscovered continents, I searched both inner and outer earth, and could find no 'tree of life', no way to reverse the aging process (nay, even to halt it!) - indeed all I found was that I had become even older! Upon returning to my humble existence I noticed not one or two, but great swathes of scraggly old undesirable men had transformed themselves into youthful demigods in my absence! How ? How has this happened ?!? What did I miss ? How can I join them ? "Just for Men" they cried. "Mustache and Beard Gel" they rallied. And so here I came to obtain this most wonderful and magical product - and after just one application, I revealed myself in great trepidation to the foggy bathroom mirror and realised... I really try for five times but unfortunately didn’t dye my beard properly so I’m very disappointed of this product
