ESV Value Large Print Compact Bible (TruTone, Mahogany, Border Design)

A large print Bible could never be compact! There are almost 760,000 words on this ESV version-it can either be compact OR Large Print-not both! Having said that, it is a comfortable size for a compact Bible, bigger font than my study Bible. The binding seems solid, not only because is new but, because for the price, and depending on how good one takes care of it, it should last for a long time. I make a point of not inserting papers or Sunday's bulleting inside the cover since that is one of the main reasons that Bible bindings fail. People complain that the concordance section is not exhaustive, or that the pages are too thin (most Bibles use this paper weight) yet expect a compact Bible. This is by no means a Bible study, hence the limited concordance and lack of maps and other supplements, something had to give to keep it compact, which is what the manufacturer claims. In conclusion; this is a great option for bringing along everywhere all 66 books. It is precious, it is a blessing, it is a larger than most common compact bibles print and compact-just as the manufacturer claims.

Wonderful size, easy read.

The Bible size is small but makes sit use with the price but I’d say it’s regular print and not large print. Yes it’s not the smallest but still not large just regular size. Otherwise it’s beautiful and obviously the best read that I’ve found in my life for me personally

I was looking for a small Bible with large prints and this fit the bill. It's so small that it's just a little over pocket size, it fits in my hands while carrying a small journal with me as well, I love the large prints, I am almost blind without my glasses and the large prints help a lot. People ask me where I get the Bible all the time, they look at the prints and they love it. Definitely recommend getting this.

I purchased the because I needed a large print Bible for my aging eyes. I like the feel of the cover and the pages are of good quality. However, I would not label this as a large print. The font is the same size as my regular Bible. It is a dark print which helps with seeing the words, but still a smaller print.

They do not get destroyed as quickly in my boys’ backpacks as our previous cardboard covered ESV. They are required for school.

My husband has a large study Bible and was wanting something smaller to carry around. It’s slightly smaller than a normal sized Bible.

This bible is perfect for someone who needs a compact, smaller bible for people who are looking to travel or just bring a bible along with them anywhere they go, the text is still perfectly readable so the size of the bible is no problem. No complaints.

Is as described, good value for money.

For the price, it is amazing. Very readable font size, the only problem is that it won't stay open on its own. But for a portable Bible it is excellent.

Font is too small. 8 point. It was sold as large print. I like it but I need a larger font.
