Works well for my new environmental initiative to reduce disposable paper use! Great for allergic rhinitis-I would likely not use if I were ill for infection prevention reasons

Bought to use at my husband’s funeral. They are beautiful, I’m still using them. Nice to use, not hard and scratchy.

The Hankies are beautiful. Each one is embellished with a different flower.. Blue, violet, pink. & mixed. Glorious lace. I send them to all my friends that have turned 90. They truly appreciate them.

My old hankies were getting a little frayed around the edges, so I went searching for new ones. I am one of those people who always carries a handkerchief, prepared for sinus drip or allergy symptoms. I ordered two different sets on amazon, and I'll compare them. Both work well as hankies. Not too thin, not too thick. Both wash fine in hot water. Both have edges finished so they will last a long time. These hankies, Floral Embroidered Cotton Handkerchief with Lace Trim Set of 6 ... , measure 10 ½" square. One corner has a very pretty white lace inset. Also at that same corner (only) is an embroidered flower posy. The flowers are in different pastel colors. The quality of the cotton used for these hankies is just a little better than the second hankie type I bought (Forlisea), which means that they don't smooth out as easily if you aren't going to iron them. They still work for me. If you are looking for PRETTY hankies, these are especially pretty when they are ironed. My confession – I don't iron my hankies. (OK, I don't iron much of anything!) I wash and tumble dry them, and then hand-fold them into a rectangle. The picture attached shows one smoothed by hand after washing. I don't pretend it looks the same as an ironed hankie, but it works for me. The second type of hankie I purchased was Forlisea Womens Beautiful Cotton Floral Handkerchief Wendding Party Fabric Hanky 10pcs . These are a nice size, especially if you have a cold and need that extra space! The edges are scalloped, which is pretty. I measure a hankie at almost 12 inches square, 11 and 13/16" to be exact. The floral patterns are average, by which I mean just fine. The colors of the inner floral design are muted. The colors of the outer border are bright. Here's the part I like best about these hankies. The Forlisea hankies smooth out quite nicely just by hand. I stack them in a drawer putting the newly laundered underneath the ones already in the drawer, and that flattens each hankie out a little more. Photo of a washed and folded hankie attached.
