Perfect little notebook for on-the-go, mine has held up great!
I have had the small, soft cover notebook for quite awhile now. I love it for jotting down quick notes on anything that catches my fancy. Mine is pretty beat up looking now, but the only actual fault that I have identified is that the back cover pocket has split open, so nothing can be held in there. Other than that, the binding is still strong, and I have opened it flat many times, the elastic band is still attached and strong, and the bookmark is still in place. I believe this notebook will continue to hold up for as long as I have pages in it to fill. The soft cover is quite nice, and allows me to easily slip the book into a pocket, even if I have to bend is slightly to fit. It also fits nicely into my backpack, which has several small pockets ideal for books this size. The paper can bleed if using a fountain pen with a medium to wide nib, especially if the flow is high, but gel, ballpoint, and pens of that type do not seem to bleed through, though if you hold the paper up you can identify markings on the other side of the page. The paper holds up well, but with my small handwriting I could have liked a tighter ruling to get more use out of the page.

The right features in a pocketable format
Before paying the brand premium for this notebook, I tried another off-brand one and was disappointed by how thick and hard it was. But this Moleskine is great! As a daily carry for someone who needs to reference older notes than, say, a Field Notes can hold, it benefits from a few important features: - It's as thin as the Papermate Ink Joy pen I carry with it. - It's flexible enough to curve around my leg when in a front pocket. - Its leather-like cover handles normal wear and is flush with the page edges (meaning it doesn't catch on stuff when pocketing). - Its woven bookmark is soft and frays slowly. - Its elastic band can stay inside the back cover. I rarely need it. My only wish is that Moleskine would make one just a bit smaller, maybe 4.5" x 3"!

Best notebook ever !
This is my favorite notebook. It's small enough to fit in my back pocket and large enough to take notes in. It's has a soft cover so it bends in whatever pocket I put it in (especially my pant's back pocket). It has a ribbon as a bookmark so you can quickly open it to your last entry. The elastic band is great for holding the notebook closed, especially if you have other papers tucked inside (like business cards, receipts, etc). I use it for recording training notes, meeting notes, writing ideas, and to capture information I'll use later. I've carried one of these notebooks for years and have about a dozen filled notebooks. A couple of recommendations when using this notebook: Use permanent ink, not gel pens. If the paper gets wet gel-ink will run and be illegible. I found this out when my notebook spent the night in the snow - ick. Also, the pocket in the back of the notebook will eventually wear and open (the bottom at the outside edge of the cover). I've had to put tape on most of the notebooks I used because I carried them in my pants pocket. The edge wears. It makes a great birthday present too!

Great notebook for small hands
This is a really great little notebook. It fits neatly into both my shirt pockets and my cargo pants' pockets, which makes it's versatility factor very nice. I bought this notebook as a way to jot down simple reminders to myself to keep up with tasks that get interrupted and require me to pick up where I "left off". This stores pointers back to those tasks for me. I am finding it a bit difficult to work with due to its small size, but that's the whole point, so not slamming it for that. I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to keep 2 notebooks -- one larger for drawings / diagramming and note taking and this smaller notebook for quick jots. The quality is real nice, and the paper is superb. I have used a Sharpie pen (not the perma ink ones, but the real pens from Sharpie), and a Pilot Precise V7 in this notebook with much success.

Best of the best
I use mine all all day. I'm rough in it. It's tough. The paper is high quality. Tear resistant. Ink and pencil work well. Doesn't smear or smudge. I've also used the look-a-likes but they are inferior quality in my opinion. These notebooks last all the way to the last page and beyond. I just like the way they feel in my hands also. It almost feels like leather. Maybe it is leather... They are expensive but worth every dime. If you want pages falling out and ink smears, buy the cheaper ones. The pocket in the back cover is very useful. I buy the soft cover books because they are comfortable in my back pocket.

Good quality
Good quality notebook, with thick paper that doesn’t bleed through to the other side of the page. Binding is good. There are cheaper products, but the quality is worth the price.

Moleskine the original personal journal
I started my journal with Moleskine years ago. The paper was excellent with numerous sizes to choose from. The paper quality for fountain pens declined suddenly so I stopped using Moleskine. I have read recent reviews that the paper quality has improved substantially so this is a test purchase.

KÖTÜ
Dolma kalem için almıştım yazıyı arkasına geçiriyor beş para etmez kalitesiz kağıtlardan bir farkı yok almayın.
