Working on my Doctorate in Healthcare Administration. Project Management is part of the course & this book was required for class. Trust & Believe you will need it to be successful in that course. Very Helpful

Fantastic resource for those managing or learning to manage healthcare systems. This text comprehensively covers all aspects of healthcare management. I will admit the abbreviations are over used for a graduate level survey course text, but that is my only complaint. I feel confident I will use this text for many years to come.

This book redefines the term "comprehensive". It is thick, dense, and full of a lot of great information on health service organizations and health systems. Probably not the best choice for an introductory 500-level course, but good as a reference nonetheless.

This book is painful to read and an information overload. Although all relevant, be prepared to expand your knowledge. With 6ish pages of acronyms in the index be prepared to know and recognize these codes throughout the text. In regards to the book, it is difficult to keep pages open being that it is a hardcover. I am worried the binding will loosen eventually over time.

Excellent, comprehensive look on the HSO/HS field. Two chapters in and thoroughly pleased.
