Pop Rides: Game of Thrones - Dragon & Daenerys Action Figure

You really cannot go wrong with a GoT Pop, but this one just hits it right out of the park. The cuteness of little Dani combined with the adorableness of Drogon is a lethal combination. I did not even look at the price as I clicked to add this to my shopping cart--I did not care, I had to have it! Dani is actually separate from Drogon, but she is molded to fit onto his back, so she really cannot be displayed in any other way. I have an Iron Throne Pop as well, and I hoped this Dani would be able to sit on it, but she doesn't--she fits, but she isn't in the right position. Pops are becoming more intricate and detailed, and overall, the quality has stepped up too. Early on, Pops were a mixed bag of painting and mold errors. However I have rarely encountered severe issues of late, so ordering sight unseen is no longer a huge gamble. The biggest problem is getting an undamaged box. Unfortunately my Dani/Drogon arrived in a box with a ripped display window and a dented corner. But the actual Pop was pristine and painted with exacting detail, so I am actually happy the box was messed up, because otherwise I would not have opened it and removed it. Now I can see all the details and just enjoy the Pop from all sides.

I really like this figure. Dany and Drogon are still my favorite parts of GOT, even after S8. Dany stays on Drogon's back really well, she doesn't move around too much if the shelf is bumped, but she's just placed on his back, there's nothing holding her in place, like a small peg, so she won't move at all. As a collector the state of the box did bother me. While I don't keep most GOT stuff in their boxes so it wasn't a huge deal, the box still wasn't in great condition. It wasn't the worst I've ever seen with this figure but it definitely was not display worthy. Also it took forever (months) to actually get this figure to my door. I kept getting delivery dates changed (it hadn't shipped), then when months after I ordered, it had FINALLY shipped, the package was sent back from the delivery driver/company, because they said it was damaged. So I had to reorder, at a slightly higher price, and it shipped and I got it fairly quickly after that. It was such a headache to get this figure. I love the figure but it was a pain to get.

My first ever POP figure. I was never really the big fan of the eyes, but honestly after buying this, I enjoy having it as a display piece. The box it came in was a little dneted, but I'm not a huge collector and I don't care for keeping it in mint condition for future resale. However for those that do, maybe reconsider your seller to make sure its getting packaged properly if not packaged in those POP box protectors. Overall the piece itself is pretty well detailed especially Drogon. I didn't notice any even minor paint defects. I wish they could of added the red corlation to the neck and tail frills to make it more show accurate, but considering POP figures are very simple in design and paint job, it looks really well done.

I'm huge fan of Game of Thrones. Daenery's is my favorite character most of all. I mean she's the Mother of Dragons and she is powerful queen. Her three Dragons are cool and majestic. I couldn't resist buying Daenery's and her dragon, Drogon. It came in it's original box with no damage that I could see. Daenery's can be taken off her dragon,which is nice, but she is better riding him, cause her legs can not be rearranged straight. And let me tell you having Daenery's riding on-top of her dragon looks super cute and awesome. I have them placed on my dresser. Just be careful when handling it, cause it would suck if you dropped it and it got broken or chipped, just some friendly advice. But overall I love it!!!! So glad I bought this. Get this if your fan of Deanery's and her dragon or the Game of Thrones show!

This is so cute... I only gave value for money a four-star ...don’t be upset with me... But they are very expensive… And I personally have not handled one as I buy them off of Amazon and send them to my grandson who loves them. Well that’s all that matters… I bought several of these for my grandson who is absolutely in love with these toys… They’re fun they’re great to collect when you’re a kid they have interesting faces LOL suffice to say these are decent enough and sturdy enough for this 11-year-old to play with and enjoy, and swap with friends

The Drogon with Dany pop is one of the coolest looking funko pops I've seen. They are impressive next to the regular funko pops that we've all come to know. This Drogon looks so much better than the upright versions of the dragons previously released. It actually looks more accurate to the show, with a more predatory posture. Dany can be removed if you'd rather display the dragon by himself, but it would be useless for Dany who would look ridiculous by herself. The size and heft are great, the sculot is cool, but there is one weakness and that is the flat paint job. Very minimal effort to get any details in the paint. Pretty remarkable since you have funko pops of the smaller pops, some with very intricate details and colors, and yet this one is so minimal. I had to repaint mine to at least try to make it look like Drogon. As you can see, I had to touch up quite a bit, but even if funko just colored in the horns and the fins it would have made a huge difference.

I recently bought this one and the night king on the dragon and BOTH of them are MUST HAVES to your collection if you are a game of thrones fan and you collect these because wow are they fun to have and to look at! I get so many questions about them and so many compliments because it just looks so AWESOME having them side by side with the others i have and it just compltets the entire set up so FIVE STARS AND 23 THUMBS UP! Also any time i order these POP figures they are ALWAYS the real deal, they come rather quickly within just a few days even if the estimated delivery date is st for a week or more and they are always my favorite things to buy on AMAZON because in store the prices are crazy but here i get them for less and they are just great for any collector of this sort of thinbg!

I ordered this item to add to my collection. Was very pleased. Daenerys Stormborn sits on my mantle atop Drogon, both looking extremely fierce. Unfortunately, my toddler got ahold of them. He is typically uninterested in my Pop figures but for some reason this one fascinated him. So I let him play with Daenerys and Drogon and, just as you'd expect, Daenerys ended up getting dropped on the floor and her leg broke off. Tragedy! I'd had the figure for less than a week and already it was damaged. Maybe I should have kept them both safe inside the box. But, no! Daenerys Targaryen is the Breaker of Chains. She will not be confined. She and Drogon must be allowed to fly free. So I shrugged, got some Krazy Glue, stuck the leg back on, and it looks good as new. Who are these weirdos that buy Pop figures and keep them trapped in their boxes the entire time? Life is too short and permanence is an illusion. Break the cycle of attachment and set your Pops free!
