Do you have to buy a amplifier or microphone to use it?

You do not have to buy an amplifier to use it. It is good to be have an amplifier to get the right volume though. You do need some headphones to listen to the sound you are producing. You can also use a set of mini speakers (though it is not always easy to hear through these).You will need a microphone and/or an instrument that you can plug into the box.

After i switch off the loop station or even take off the battery do i loose the memory recording so the next i swich it on do ineed to do them again ?

After putting in your recording you must Wright it into the memory or you will loose it. Cheers Paul.

Has anyone used it with a Beatbuddy?

No experience of the Beatbuddy.....but it looks like it would be OK to use with the Boss Looper.....

Is it possible to plug headphones directly into it?

Hi. Their is no 'headphone out' on the unit and the main out signal will be too low for use with headphones. You could use headphones if you have a headphone amplifier or if you have a headphone out in your amplifier.Warmest regardsMartin
