Fox Factory Rebuild Kit for Float Rear Shocks

easy to put in and now my shock works great

Los estoy probando en mi shock fox float dpxs2 hasta el momento bien

This rebuilt kit was surprisingly easy to do, considering how long I waited to do it. Shock fluid was included!

Quality of the seals remains to be determined. Initial inspection looks good. Only time will tell. Picture shows the fluid in the pillow pack. THIS DOES NOT ACTUALLY COME WITH THE FLUID. Wish I had seen the other reviews confirming this.

This rebuild kit worked great! It comes with everything you need for any type of float shock. I was nervous that it did not state which shock it was specifically for, but later learned that it comes with the seals and parts for ANY fox float shock. Due to this, you will have leftover seals and other little parts. You extra get a bit of extra shock oil! I only had to use about half the little bottle. Very happy with this kit!

As other reviewers have mentioned DOES NOT include the Fox Float Fluid packet, despite it being pictured. BUYER BEWARE that it is missing. Other than that, you get all the O-rings and spacers pictured, and it comes in original Fox packaging, so it does appear to be the genuine item.

Appears to be a genuine Fox product in Fox labeled bag (looks legit). You know you're getting what's advertised...I have an older shock Fox R4 probably circa 1997 and it had all the parts need to run the rebuild.

I completely rebuilt my Fox Floating shock on my Specialized using this kit. Before the rebuild, my shock kept collapsing. There were a few O-Rings missing, but luckily I didn't need to replace those specific ones. The rebuild took a couple hours, because this was my first attempt at rebuilding one of these. I am a mechanic, so I had all the tools needed for the job. If you're not experienced with tools or maintenance, I suggest you have someone more experienced do the job or oversee your work. It's a bit tedious. After the rebuild, you'll need to air the shock up to a maximum pressure of 300 psi. My air compressor only goes up to 150 psi, so I had to use a manual air pump to finish inflating it. It's worked great for a couple weeks now, but I keep a rear shock spring just in case this one starts collapsing again. I have no plans on rebuilding this thing again for at least a couple years, or I'm tossing it.

Ce kit de joint contrairement à ce qui est dit dans la description ne convient pas pour la reconstruction d'un amortisseur Fox ALPS 5 R C'est une arnaque ou une erreur de libellé.

Came very prompt and as described. Pleased with the purchase
