G Ganen Musical Sewing Machine Music Box Vintage Look (Brown-1)

Delivered on time and intact. Bought for wife's birthday. She has her grandmother's treadle sewing machine, and she has some music boxes.

my mom wanted this music box since she is a sewer. saw this on another and the cost was alot higher so I bought it on Amazon. My mom loved it when she opened it and she has not stopped playing it. It is a very nice gift!

This isn't heirloom quality but it is GREAT for the price. It is larger than I pictured it would be. A lot of reviews said that the tune that it plays was so bad that it was barely discernable but I found the tune immediately recognizable as "Für Elise" and was perfectly acceptable quality. It is made of plastic pieces and does have that "cheap" feel but, again, for the price, I think it was perfect. My mom loved it.

This was. Secret Santa gift that came with a piece broken off. I had to glue it since I didn’t have time to return it and get a replacement one. It’s very fragile but cute.

I could not believe it when I received it. MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED. You pull out the large, middle drawer and a musical box starts playing. AND WHILE IT'S PLAYING, parts of the machine start moving, such as (1) the spool of thread on top of the machine, (2) the large wheel on the right side of the machine, and (3) the treddle underneath the machine. Just "awesome". I purchased it to make a lamp out of it. In fact, all of the parts I am going to use to make this lamp I purchased from Amazon. When I finish making the lamp I will send Amazon a photo of it.

Beautiful and romantic, when you open the small drawer begins music and everything move!!

It is plastic but the music plays loud and clear (as far as music boxes is concerned) and the details were just adorable. Great gift for anyone who likes sewing and who likes music boxes. My mother in law likes both so it was a really cute gift we gave her for her birthday. When you wind it up to play the music, the pedal moves and wheel at the top moves just like when someone is sewing. It was reasonably priced and she thought it was just the cutest gift.
