Just needed a simple classic ledger for all my electronic transactions/checks that wouldn't work in my regular checkbooks. Use it for business and personal as there is plenty of room and the dividers are great if you want a chart of accounts. Nice size: not too small and not so large it is cumbersome. Wanted it in a more permanent and easily stored format than the ledger booklets you can get at the office supply stores.

My husband was thrilled with this gift. Not your typical gift but he was very happy. He had not been able to find the ledger sheets locally and he prefers hard copy of all his business finances. Excellent notebook. Will last for years and years. Ledger sheets are perfect to show date, item, credit or debit.

I bought this ledger for my 94-year old Dad when his computer/Quicken was giving him problems. Why it beats tracking expenses on a computer: 1. Access Time -- while the computer is still loading up when turning on, just flip this ledger open and begin inputting your expenses! You can be finished by the time the application on the computer is ready for your input. Ledger wins! 2. Data Availability -- just pick up the ledger, open, and view. With the computer, turn on computer, type in login, wait for computer to load while you whistle, click on app, click on spreadsheet, scroll. Ledger wins again! 3. Cost Effective -- a pen costs a few dimes. Ink for the printer (plus the cost of a printer)can add up in expense. Ledger wins! 4. Brain Activity to keep the mind young -- Mentally adding, subtracting, even if using a calculator, can keep our mind working and functional. With the computer, it is all done for us -- lazy, lazy. Ledger wins once again! Really, for simple household budget tracking, this cannot be beat.

I love this I wish it was a little more affordable.

We use these modest size binders to hold the handwritten back up of our Electronic bookkeeping records. We find these binders to be quite sturdy even though they are of relatively modest size. We have bought many of them over the years and we will continue to buy them as long as we are able to do so. I definitely can recommend them to you
