when I first tried this I started with 1/4 teaspoon in the evening,I quickly went to 1/2 because for me 1/4 didn't help. I decided to try putting it in empty gel caps because the taste really isn't great. Dont know why but it works better as a tea. Im not sure what the issue is with the gel caps, but if you did buy the capsule form just empty a teaspoon into hot water and just drink it as fast as you can.

Great for digestive health. I stir a little into my morning OJ and add a little xylitol to offset the bitterness.

To start off I have to say it taste bad. Really bad! But you don’t buy this to choose flavor, you buy it because it works really good. I couldn’t drink it as a tea so I put it in capsules and am using it that way. It’s keeping me regular and I don’t have to worry about putting horrible chemicals in me. I would recommend this again and again. Package was in perfect condition and sealed really well

First of all, it’s very bitter but it reminds me that I used to drink herbal tea when I got sick in my childhood memories. I have constipation and lots of time I need supplements to relieve the ailment, even though I drank a lot of water, exercise and eat a lot of veggie. Accompanied with other supplements, I start to go regularly without any straining. I did some research on many benefits of triphala and there is no overdose risk. I will continue to take it for my overall health. I am also having my husband to take the capsules now.

My triphala powder envelope came packed in an envelope that said ‘open to see product’. I opened it, started pulling out the inner envelope, and got hit with something that smelled like pure concentrated moth ball, and it burned my sinuses. I neti’d my sinuses to rinse some away, and my head is killing me. I don’t know what exactly the company packs its products in, but BEWARE and BE AWARE. I can’t stress enough how bad this was — and is. It still burns.Needless to say, I put the whole thing outdoors, opened my windows and turned my exhaust fan on. I didn’t open the inner package, but I can’t imagine anything coming out of that package that would be good to put in ones body. I’m sitting here hoping no permanent damage is done. Sounds funny, right? Well, it’s true. It was like being near a chemical spill.We’re taking herbs to stay way from the chemicals ‘they’ push on us…and here it comes packed in chemicals. Maybe they do the outer sleeve so no one smells it in shipment. I’m rambling, I know, but I am so angry!PS. This is the first ‘bad’ review I’ve ever written. The thing I received warranted it.

Triphala is a balanced cleanser that I've been taking for years. I've experimented with different brands and decided to try this brand for the first time. Bought this June 2021 and noticed the manufactured stamp on the packages is Aug 2020. The packaging states "Best before 24 months after manufacture." The problem is I received an already one year old item which means there is theoretically only one year left before expiry. Disappointed!
