Works great as a 12v telescope power supply station
Bought this item to build an ammo can power supply station. It also came prewired. Just wanted the cigarette plug but having the usb/voltage display and a power switch was a plus. Works well powering my dobsonion telescope. I added another charging port to recharge the 12v12amh sla battery , inside the ammo can , that I also bought from amazon. Nice little setup and saved some money instead of buying the prebuilt ones.

Nice design and seems well made
Unit arrived today. Selected because the the dimensions suggested that it would fit the opening available in an older Toyota pickup; and it does so handily. This unit offers useful features such as an on-off switch and outwardly seems to be well made. The LEDS are not visible without power, but they gave a nicely visible reading of 9.6 V when bench tested with a 9V battery. Because of the vehicle, installation will be a bit fiddly, but doable. Looks to be good to go.

Quality product, working well for me
So far this unit is functioning very well and I like the 'style'My only gripe is the undersized wire for the power leads which appear to be about 16-18awg which is ok for loads <=5 amps. It's a simple fix to replace this wimpy wire with 12 gauge wire which is more appropriate for loads in the 10 amp range.

Installed in truck bed
So it took awhile to install, but hooked this up in my truck bed for power back there when needed. Haven't fully tested it yet but it does charge my phone and have a accurate battery voltage reading.l will update if anything changes but so far pretty pleased.1 thing I would change and I ended up doing my own wiring is have change to a 2 prong fuse vs the tube fuse it comes with.

Diy auxiliary panel. Already wired up.
Excellent. Surprise it was already wired up . Just had to connect to the 12vdc battery. Both usb port work. The power indicator works. The 12vdc socket works. Just charged battery shows 13.1vdc. Measured with meter 13.06vdc so this is very good. Usb 5.13vdc unloaded. Used a usb tester to read the voltage. Perfect for my diy aux power project. The fuse in my fuse holder is 10A.
