Great for acrylic painting! This paper stands up to vigorous blending, multiple layers, and won't curl when wet. I tape paper to a board for stability on an easel. Works great for regular frames and solves storage issues. It does take a little time to get used to the different 'feel' than canvas. Love that I can customize the size of a project, or do multiple smaller projects on a single page.

I found this paper to be a good place to start while learning goache & watercolor techniques, as the paper can take a lot of reworking before the fibers break and it is not so expensive that you worry you’ll waste it. It has a smoother side like a cold press paper and a textured side. My “cons” in this review are: (1) the mauve/lavender tint was unexpected and makes whites more challenging, and (2) the absorbency is intense and it takes in a lot of moisture somewhat unevenly. I am thankful for a decent quality mid-range paper to learn on, however!

Nice thick paper at a good price, but it ISN'T WHITE. It's very grey. I can use it for acrylics by generously pre-coating it with gesso or an opaque under painting, but it couldn't be used with transparent color or for watercolor if you want any kind of sparkle.

I bough this for a Christmas gift. ( for myself) I have to wait til after Christmas to use it. Just from seeing the paper still wrapped I can tell that each individual sheet is thick and the whole package has a heavy weight to it. I am excited about trying out some new watercolor art on this paper. So far just from visual appearance I would reccomend it.

Our resident distance learner is also a budding artist. She loves the art pads for her "wet" media, oils and, not often, water colors. I'm glad we found them and she's glad we bought them.

Good quality paper and as described. I bought it to encourage my children to use good quality supplies. Extremely nice paper!

I love it so much; that I order it again. ( The fact that the paper is so heavy, you can it for watercolor if you are a beginner. That is how I’m using it for. I also it for my acrylic painting too.

Very nice weight paper for my grandchildren's tempra paints and markers. Study, paints and markers do not bleed and paper is suitable for framing.
