My favorite!
This is my favorite trick. I ordered it Sep. 14 and received it Sep. 20, When I opened it, I made sure that the trick worked( for those of you that know how it works) and the nickels got stuck. I spent about ten minutes trying to get them out. You need to put the nickel in before you put the gimmik in. You can't just put the gimmik in. The whole reason why the ring is there is to ensure that the weight of the nickel makes the gimmik come out. It is truly an awesome trick. I reccomend that you get it because stores and big name brands make you pay way more when you can get it at the same quality for just under 5$.

GREAT!!
Great illusion and very kid-friendly. As matter of fact, this trick will keep them occupied for quite some time. You can "make" the nickels "into" more than just dimes too -- all that's needed is a little imagination, creativity, and a magic wand, of course! Overall, great trick... easy to pull off, and a lot of fun! Highly recommended.

OK for the money
I've seen higher quality versions of the same trick. My kids were able to figure this one out pretty quickly because there was a pretty visible line where the two halves attached together. It was also difficult to get everything together tight enough to keep the top nickel from rattling. That said, the price is right and as long as you don't let your audience spend too much time examining the parts afterwards it should go over just fine.

Some work better than others.
It's a good value. If you can get it under $10. The machining could be better to be a little tighter tolerance. That's all I can really say. One of them I bought was good. The other well not so much. They do come with a real nickel. You need to supply the dimes of course. The instructions are clear enough but one other routines doesn't make any sense to expose it in front of them. The product comes carded in a blister pack rather than in a box. Makes it look a little cheaper like a toy but I guess the graphics are more colorful and easy to hang on a rack. Only buy one from a seller who's willing to take it back if it's not precision.

Find a quality version.
It broke after like 4 timesof doing the trick. Maybe i slammed it down too hard or something but it just falls out now without even needing the ring. I threw it away.

Pretty neat! A simple, and very effective trick
I like to get simple close-up magic tricks to show off with and this one is very effective. The gimmicked shell, cover, and ring are nicely machined from brass and fit together very well. They are easy to manipulate. -Show a stack of four nickels on the table -Cover them with the brass cap -Tap the cap, lift it and the nickels have changed to dimes -Show the cap to prove the nickels are not hidden inside -Place the cap on the ring -Tap the cap, lift it and the nickels have reappeared -Place the stack of nickels on the back of your hand -Cover them with the brass cap -Tap the cap and the four nickels drop to the table after seeming to travel through your hand Pretty neat! It's fun and easy to master after a couple of practice sessions, and you can even make up your own variations of the trick.

Cool trick
I love this trick. I have arthritis in my once nimble fingers but this trick is easy to learn and maneuver even for me. Do not let audience of any age near the trick. A 5 year old figured it out. It shouldn't rattle.
