WOW! Amazing Flaver. Beats Top Brands!
I discovered dandelion tea years ago and fell in love with the flavor! So I looked for the best tea that I could find. The Republic of Tea (RoT) was my first choice and their tea set my first standard of excellence. While their tea and packaging was great, they are a bit pricy and I got tiered of fishing the little round single layer stringless bags out of my cup. I then tried Bigelow with their "flow-through" stringed bags. The flaver was very good but still the flavor was a rung lower than RoT. So, I figured if I could be satisfied with something less than excellent (RoT) but at least as good as Bigelow, maybe I could save some money buying a bulk quantity. Enter: Amazon. There I found "MATCHA DNA CERTIFIED USDA Organic Roasted Dandelion Root Tea." For 120 bags at a reasonable price per bag, I thought, it's worth a try. WOW!!! Was I surprised when I tasted my first cup. What sets this tea apart from the others is its strong ROASTED flavor. Not that it overpowers the dandelion flavor in any way, quite the contrary, it brings it out with a rich fullness. I love it. I have found my new standard of excellence! THE PICTURE: Don't be dissappointed by the bag! The box has an illustration of a flow-through bag, but the actual bag is a single-layer bag. It's fine. Easily flavors an 8oz cup. Enjoy!!!

Unexpected results from drinking this tea
As a former smoker the smell of the dandelion tea was a bit disturbing, it smells like cigarettes. However, that smell goes away once you steep the tea. When I told my spouse (Margo) I had ordered the tea she shook her head and said it tastes terrible. OK, maybe this was a $20 down the drain. Anyway, today I made a cup a tea, added some honey and it sorta tasted like coffee. While drinking the tea, I did another internet search on the health benefits of dandelion tea and I guess I will edit this review in a few months if it has any positive effects on my blood sugar, blood pressure or cholesterol levels.I've been drinking two cups a tea a day for about a month now and today my wife pointed something out that had escaped me. She says, I have stopped snoring. I though about it for a minute and realized that normally if I take a nap during the day; I usually wake myself up with my snoring...that hasn't been happening lately. That's an unexpected PLUS! Recently I had a busy day and I only had one cup of tea at lunch, my snoring returned that night, as reported by my wife. So for me, it takes two cups of tea, one at lunch and the other after supper to silence the snore. I've been thinking about this for a while now and I now believe the HONEY I have been putting in my tea may be the reason I stopped snoring.Update 11/24/2016: I don't have blood lab work to back up this observation but...At my last physical, my doctor pointed out my platelet count was slightly below normal. I had also noticed that if I cut myself it seemed to take a lot longer for the bleeding to stop. I'm 80 teabags into this box and now if I cut myself, I hardly bleed at all. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of blood work in January.Update 12/14/2016 I did my lab work early and below is the results.Glucose: slightly lowerPlatelet count: slightly higher I'm now into the low side of normalLDL: slightly lowerHDL: slightly higherweight loss: naddaSo nothing earth-shattering but still positive results. I'll stick with the tea for another six months and report in.

It makes detoxifying delicious!
For the past 8 years I have suffered from edema of the legs that seemingly has no cause. As a result, I am always looking for ways to gently detoxify my system and help it work more efficiently. I became interested in dandelion root because it is known to provide liver and kidney support and has anti-inflammatory properties. I liked this product in particular because it is 100% USDA certified organic. Over the past few days of drinking this tea, I have not needed to use my diuretic because I have not had any swelling in my legs, and I’ve never felt better! The taste of this tea is strong and woodsy. It’s not a bad taste, but it can be sweetened up with honey or another sweetener. As other reviewers have mentioned, it can also be iced to make a refreshing drink. I find it actually tastes quite good with or without sweetener, and I love, love, love that it is free of caffeine. When you order this product, you get a huge box of tea (120 individually wrapped bags) making it a very good value for the price. It would also make a wonderful gift for the herbal tea drinker in your life.

Best Dandelion Tea I've Tasted
I absolutely love this brand of dandelion tea. I've tried at least 5 other brands and this one is by leaps and bounds the best. I get the truest bitter flavor. Other brands left my steeping pitcher and my thermos oily and discolored, but this one is so pure and free of any additives that all I need to do is rinse the pitcher and the thermos out with hot water and I'm good to go.This dandelion tea tastes bitter but not overly bitter. I get a hint of nuttiness. I do not need to add any sweetener. I love it just the way it is. I give this brand my highest 5 star ++ recommendation.

Dandelion Root tea
I have purchased numerous times. I like that they are individually wrapped. This box I got a couple days ago, when I open a tea bag, every one has a split in it. Looks like they didn't seal the tea bags completely. I have had to throw every one out as you can't use. I've even tried to put it through a strainer. Very disappointed this time. I wish they would have replaced them. Kinda pricey to not be able to use.
