Men's Easy Reader Watch

I bought this watch as I have low vision and need something easy to read. I have always had good luck with the Timex brand. It is indeed easy to read and at the push of the stem, glows in the dark, always great when having to wake up in the night for kids or prayers. Now, what everyone complains about: YES, you WILL have to turn the stem of this watch many, many times to set the date and time correctly. I say, put your favorite audiobook, recording, etc. on your headphones and just go for it. It's not difficult, just time consuming. This is the only drawback of this watch. It is very handsome to wear, and comes a good six inches up my arm as a woman. I keep meaning to take it to a jeweler to have it resized, but rather like it as is, as I always seem to have my sleeves rolled up all the time anyway! It is water resistant, I do take it off in the shower but I have gotten it wet washing my hands and it hasn't hurt the watch at all. Five stars!

What can I say, it's a Timex watch, so you know it's of good quality. Love the easy-to-read dial and is comfortable to wear. It replacing the same watch I been wearing that was 18 years old.

Got this watch for my dad. He’s very picky about the watch he wears. Has to be sliver or two-tone, white face, large black numbers, and lights up at night, with an elastic band. It fit th bill and looks great!

Nice watch at a reasonable price. No bells and whistles. It just tells time. Dial lights up when the multi-function button is pressed. Setting the day numeral display required some fiddling it. In the end I just advanced the time to get to the correct date. I took the extended warranty but it likely will not be an issue.

So far so good. The watch didn't come with directions for setting the day and date, you have to go online, that's a cheap out to me. Setting both was easy to figure out since I've owned other day / date watches, just pull the stem out to the first stop, wind clockwise for one and counter clockwise for the other. So far the watch has kept good time, at this writing I've been wearing it two weeks. I have a small wrist so fit is just very slightly loose, barely moving on my wrist, not an issue with me. Good looking watch, I like the big numbers so it's easy to read, the glowing face works well, making the watch easy to read in the dark. Based on my time with the watch so far I would buy it again.

This is my first experience with the Timex Easy Read watch and it has been great so far. The watch face is easy on my eyes and the styling is simple. The Indigo backlight is a really good feature for me. I also like the expansion band. It is comfortable. Because it is a simple watch I find I take it off a lot to protect it from impact and water exposure. I find it is not a big deal. I can see why this watch has so many positive reviews.

Bought this watch, first for my dad for Christmas 2025. He has dementia and has trouble reading a watch. This one fot the bill with large, easy to read display, backlight, and water-resistant. It also had the metal, stretch band, which he likes. However, after setting the date and time, found it would not hold time. Replaced the battery with a new one, since it was possible the battery inside the watch was several years old. This did not help. Still kept losing time. Bought another, identical watch and it kept time OK but after a week of use, the second hand completely stopped. Again, replaced the battery but no help. Second hand would never move. Being a Timex, I expected better quality. Will be ordering another brand after this experience. UPDATE*** 3/30/2026 I.have upgraded my review to 5 stars because I took the first watch I bought and set the time and kept it with me. It has held time perfectly. What happened is my dad, who has severe dementia, was messing with it and apparently changing the time but had no recollection of doing something. Therefore, I have changed my eating. The watch is definitely easy to read and the backlight works fantastically. Not a thing wrong with it. However, the second watch i ordered DID malfunction. The second hand just quit working, even with known good batteries.

I love this watch! And though I’m a woman, it’s a great style of both gold & silver in an oversize bracelet for my wrist. This is the third one I’ve purchased over the last several years. I love that I can see the time in a dark theater & the size of the numbers are generous. It’s flex band is a helpful & quick removal in dishwashing or muddy gardening. I’m hard on watches & it’s gone in the drink more times than I can count.

Great watch, love it and have it on me everyday. But the indiglo light is not full. Top half is missing. Returned it and got another watch, same issue.

it's the second of the same model I buy. Still as pretty as ever. First watch & brand to make me love watches

Only problem , I think is lesser size of belt , it not big but it is smaller

the watch was perfect for me i fave trouble seeing at night so the face lighting up meant i had no problems reading the time.It also arrived the date quoted which was great,would have no problems dealing with amazon again.

Beautiful Times Easy Reader 35 mm, expandable steel strap and indiglo. It has date and day both which makes it good choice.
