Backpage Paperback – September 14, 2014

Backpage was a great quick read. This is the story of 4 lovers (Cap, Lady, Royalty, and Sweater) who came together because of their sordid pasts and the love of money. They had the perfect relationship...both women were friends and lovers to both of the men. In between their party lives and amazing sex lives they used Backpage as a comeup. They would set up men and take their money. Anything that seems too good to be true usually is and soon feelings come into play and divide the foursome up. The straw that broke the camel's back was the last heist....will Lady and Cap get to live their happily ever after? Will Sweater finally let herself be truly loved? You gotta read this to find out.

Loved the plot! Jade really knows how to spin a story! I just wish it didn't end with a 'to be continued.' I feel like that's cheating a reader. When I start reading a story, I want a WHOLE story. But I must say, it took quite a few unexpected turns and I loved that about the book! Read in one sitting. :-)

Where they do this dodo at Dudes and Dudettes??? This.is 🤪 😜 🤪. This book is really out there and with Indiana peeps and set in the Atl...wow !!

Sweater is a cold back stabber. Sweater set her baby's daddy Zeus up to be robbed by her three best friends. Then she tells Zeus where to find Lady at the Greyhounds bus station. Then Caps shoots and kill Royalty. I knew swinging and sleeping with each other would eventually take a wrong turn. Cap and Lady wanted to be exclusive so Sweater and Royalty felt betrayed. Sweater was too crazy to be a mother, who slaps a four year old for saying"mommy I'm hungry".

I really enjoyed this read, it was very interesting a real page turner. Sweater, Royalty, Lady and Capricorn had an unusual relationship but feelings and greed got in the way and it all started to go downhill. I can't wait for book 2 to see if Royalty makes it, will Sweater get what she deserves and will her and Zeus work it out? And what happens to Lady and Capricorn? Good job Jade and Chase keep them coming.

I liked the storyline. It was different from what Jade normally writes! It was hard to get into at first but turned out to be a good book! Glad I finished it. I'm ready for the next part!

I brought the book because of the title...then as i began to read it i was CONFUSED AS HELL!!! So i reread the first couple of pages to clear up my confusion. (The name sweater threw me off.) As i continued to read i enjoyed it mostly because the story never played out how i thought it would in my head. Who wants to watch a movie or read a book when you know how its gonna end... right? Jada is a upcoming writer and it shows at times but man ole man i cant wait till she really starts to master her amazing talent of story telling. The first book i read by Jada was THOT if you like this nook you will enjoy THOT. I am only giving the book three stars because of the Cost,(overpriced on kindle for a new author) The typos, And the length of the book.

This story was nothing that I thought it will be but it turned out to be so much more! I was truly please with the way this story unfolded. It was unique all the way down to the character names! The characters relationships were something I never imagined until I read this story. I recommend this story to anyone who wants to read an untraditional BANGER!!! Jade Jones and Chase Moore did a wonderful job on this story.
