TOAUTO Button Badge Maker Machine Pins Punch Press Machine (37mm-Mould)

I really wanted to like like this button maker.. I could of figured it was going to be bad when I opened my box the button maker was scratched as if it was used.. I tried to look passed that and figured the quality would out shine any esthetics, I was dead wrong after I made I button it stopped working. After that I put everything back in the box and I’m sending it back in the morning.🚨UPDATE: I sent for a replacement and the company sent me one and received it today .. and it working great so far..the company reached out to me with a kind gesture and I’m happy about that🚨

Way back in September 2021 - I bought a TOAUTO button machine. It came with 100 buttons and they worked great. In October 2021, I needed more buttons and TOAUTO's button blanks were way too expensive so I bought a different brand of the right size. They didn't work at all and I didn't realize the TOAUTO molds need to work with it's own brand blanks. OK so I broke down and bought 200 of TOAUTO's blanks - they worked great. THEN for Black Friday in November, they went on sale for $20 for 100 and I jumped on the deal and bought 6 packs ---- 600 buttons. THEY DONT WORK. EVERY SINGLE ONE FAILS. They LOOK exactly the same as the previous ones ... but every single one out of the new order fails. I don't know what's wrong, but it isn't me. I have made hundreds of successful buttons with this machine and TOAUTO's blanks - but this batch is BAD BAD BAD. I so regret buying so many. I have tested them over and over - each time I make one from my older order IT WORKS. Every SINGLE time I make one from the new order, it fails. I'm so upset.

The cutter arrived damaged. I contacted the seller and received a response within a few hours. Seller requested my cell number to process the replacement. I didn’t want to provide it. They didn’t keep asking for it and went ahead and processed the shipment of a new circular cutter and some button blanks (without me asking). The badge maker is very good quality and very easy to use. I bought it to make the face plate for badge reels and planned on using them as Christmas gift to my fellow frontline nurses. This company obviously stands behind their product and believes in customer service. Will purchase from them again (already have 2 more purchases lined up)

I followed the instructions to a T.Used thin 20 lb paper cut exactly to size of Mylar, used the parts that came with the machine, assembled the machine correctly, press as firmly as it will allow, and they still come out looking like a cheap homemade DIY.I paid as much as i paid so u could have professional looking results, not this garbage.Did about fifty of them with the same result every time. Tried cutting the paper bigger, smaller, triple checked that the Mylar was a single layer and not accidentally two stacked together. Nothing.I can't believe this thing cost a hundred and fifty buckaroonies.I'm so unbelievably disappointed.

I want to like this machine. I was very excited to get it. However, NONE of my buttons have turned out. It appears that the mylar is too small. It is not big enough to be crimped into the metal button underneath. It is just physically impossible. When I cut the paper the size of the die (rather than the size of the mylar), the paper is crimped into the button. However, the mylar is much smaller than the die.

Great machine and package. Excellent customer support from ToAuto.I made some mistakes at first and wasted a few buttons. Turns out the white spacer/gasket is all you use in the "B" part for the plastic-back buttons (this will make sense when you see the instructions!). The black one is for metal back buttons.I am using this for projects with my students, and I look forward to using this for years to come.

Love the maker. Instructions for how to put it together and make a button were easy to follow. Haven't had any "fail" buttons yet. Even our very first test buttons turned out great. They only thing I don't like is the circle cutter. Much easier to trace a circle around the picture and cut it out with siccors instead.

Finally after searching for a while with unfortunately a lot of failures I’ve finally found the perfect pack! The PVC film is wonderful, I’ve had zero messed up pins come from the film compared to many other ones where it would work 1 out of 10 times since the PVC film was so bad! I 100% recommend this pack and at such a great price! Thank you!!
