Works great to replace door speaker in a 2001 Toyota Avalon
Bought this kit to replace the JBL door speaker in a 2001 Toyota Avalon. Took watching a video and about 30 minutes to remove the interior trim on the passenger door. About 5 minutes to install the new speaker and test it. It sounds great. A hint - do not tighten all 4 mounting screws until you align the speaker with all four hole as on my first attempt on 3 screws would align with the holes. Took another 30 minutes to get the trim back on (hint: put the window down before the reinstall as it makes seating the trim much easier). The speaker seems to have great sound without using the crossover shipped in the kit . I'm assuming the Avalon already has a crossover circuit. It's too bad I have to buy a 4 speaker kit just for one 6.5 inch speaker, but the Amazon price for the 4 speaker kit was 1/3 the price of single speaker from Toyota. The previous factory installed JBL speaker lasted 23 years before it got crackly and distorted. My wife is especially happy with the new clear sound. Now I have a spare in the event the other door speaker goes bad.

Perfect fit for a 907 / VS30 Sprinter (2019)
The speakers that come with the ridiculously high end radio package on the sprinter are horrible. This was a great, reasonably priced upgrade and they mount easily. Check out the forums at sprinter-source.com for installation details. The connector is different but you can purchase the proper one for about $10-12 also here on Amazon or just use any 2 wire connector - you aren't going to be replacing them again any time soon. Replacing the speakers is not a big job.The only modification needed to the van is to cut off (with a box knife) a small plastic tab that is used to align a notch in the the factory speakers with the door panel. This would in no way preclude you from reinstalling the original speakers (which you would never do) nor installing any other compatible speakers.

Very good tweeters for their size and the woofers look like they will also do well.
I put these speakers in an older Hyundai Sante Fe 2004. I wanted to have the tweeter up in the door to replace the original tweeter that came with the car. I wasn't sure how the fit would be. The fit was near perfect. But I did have to use some hot glue to hold the tweeter in place. I was able to get the wiring configuration so that I could run the original speaker wires to the speakers and still use the crossover for the speakers. I had to remove the front passenger seat and I removed the original amp and wired directly from the new car stereo. It all worked out well. The tweeters outperform the original tweeters that came with the SUV. The woofers fit right into the original spots. It's still early to decide how I like the bass from these speakers. But they don't sound bad. The original woofers were actually pretty good quality but this is an old SUV a 2004, so it was time to replace the old drivers. I'm not looking for perfection but these speakers feel like they will be able to make me happy with their performance.

Best Speakers I've ever heard for low wattage factory stereo
Installed these in my wife's 2013 Civic about a year ago so their nice and broken in.....The sound these speakers produce being powered by a measly 14w RMS from a factory stereo is unbelievable! They also have decent bass for a door speaker (I'm guessing the factory radio has a HPF at 50hz).Whatever technology JBL put in these that allows them to play at around 2 ohms while connected to a 4 ohm stereo clearly works. They get pretty loud with no distortion5 stars easily! Didn't think sound quality this good was achievable without an amplifier!***I sound deadened the front doors and used NVX speaker baffles that ensure sound is projected inside the car***

Good upgrade from factory 03-06 GM Bose sytem
Ran these in the front doors of my avalanche and JBL composite in rear. They are amazing upgrades from the Bose audio from factory. Running on stock Bose amp and they have the right amount of bass and vocals to jam out but not blow your ear drums out from the vocals. Crossovers are small enough to mount under the door panel. Tweeters are crisp and clear.

Best speakers you could get on a low budget
I’ve had these speakers for 3 years and haven’t had any issues other than the instal but my truck is from the 90s so take your pick. Absolutely great sound even especially paired with a 10in subwoofer they are very good even at loud volume no distortion. Absolutely would recommend for your daily driver!

My bose factory speakers are better
My factory bose speakers even had a bigger magnet. I havent hooked an amp yet and bose factory has a factory amp so i will update after i do that but for now factory bose are actually very well made which actually surprised me. So for now im not very impressed with the jbl speakers 😔
