I did not receive the item advertised. Placed a reorder and got the same item. I returned both items.

A minor manufacturing defect renders one feature useless and wastes time in setup. Do the pros outweigh cons? You decide.
I was prepared to really like this fold-up bed. It seemed to have a nice, streamlined (not clunky or heavy like many foldups) and compact design that. From the photos on Amazon, it appeared sturdy and easy to set up and use. And that little headboard? That was a killer deciding factor in whether or not to try. How great would it be to have some place to pile up pillows so you could prop yourself up in the bed (Our guests who would use this are big readers.)Turns out that headboard was the big turnoff. Or rather trying to properly attach it to the unit. As others have noted, the holes where the two (different sized) screws for each side of headboard go through it to be attached to the bed base are off-kilter. We managed to secure one side, but even with the help of another person to move the headboard around to allow the long screw (on the exterior side) to go through, we simply could not get the other (smaller screw) to go through. The hole bit is a problem, but part of that is having a design where you need two different-sized screws AND, wait for it, TWO screwdrivers, that must be used at the same time, on the two different sides of the hole, to attach the headboard.I have put together tons of Ikea and other furniture. And I have never encountered anything like this. Why not one long screw and then a bolt on other side that fastens/secures it? What's with two different sized screws and holes that don't match up.We used some duct tape to temporarily secure the one side of the headboard but that is NOT an acceptable workaround. We gave up after 20 minutes and calling in our superintendent (even he couldn't get the holes to line up and the two screws both in at same time and he had two of us holding and moving the headboard and using a light so you could see the holes.)Under normal circumstances, and if this wasn't so big, I would have considered having this shipped back and replaced. If we had had the same problem on both sides of the snap-on/screw in headboard, I definitely would have sent it back as defective.Other issues:>This bed is very low to floor. Somehow seemed a bit higher in the pix.>The frame appears sturdy, but I don't think anyone over maybe 150 pounds should spend any time on this. Support seems iffy.>The mattress is much much softer than I imagined. You'd better buy some very firm foam or put an air mattress on top if you expect someone to be comfortable.>I hate the way you have to take the mattress off the top and flip the bed over and then slip the mattress underneath for storage. That added step may seem small, but it's not.>I don't remember if the text for this item on Amazon indicated that you'd need the oversized twin sheets for this mattress. That is a big CON for me because I don't feature having to buy special sheets (Yes, you could probably use two flat twin sizes to make it work, but who has a fitted extra-long twin around in the typical house/apartment? Perhaps the manufacturer thought this was a good idea, but it should be an optional size. Not the default standard. The real test is how sturdy it is during use and how it holds up over time. The frame is steal but the headboard sides and the piece in middle are plastic. If they broke, the whole thing would be kaput. The wheels went in easily because we figured out that you insert the long bits into the bottom of the bed and then push the roller wheels on and click. The instructions told us to insert the long bits into the wheels and then insert into bottom of frame. However, that didn't work because the long "pins" did not click in at all.Speaking of the little booklet with illustrated instructions. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. It doesn't even show the second screw for the headboard attachment. If you were to literally follow the instructions, you'd never get the bed together.I'm a bear about the quality of instructions. FYI: This is by a British manufacturer and one would assume they'd do a better job of creating a better-written and more accurate set-up scenario.

Every big family should have one - or two!
This arrived and was put to good use right away. The only thing we weren't prepared for was not having cot-sized sheets - but we improvised. For its size, it is surprisingly comfortable, and sets up quickly, occupying much less space than a full-size rollaway. There are no bars that make sleep uncomfortable like a sofa-sleeper. For younger children (4-12 or so) we put it up against a wall, and used it as a lounge for TV watching - and and it was a great spot for naps as well! Well made, sturdy - a great extra bed for the price!
