I bought these in a small and medium while I was pregnant and used them everyday after I had babies to get my body back in shape. They’re super comfortable and seamless under jeans and t shirts. I also bought some for my sister after she had her babies and we love them!

I recently purchased the Spanx Higher Power Shorts with high hopes of achieving a smooth and sculpted silhouette. However, my experience with these shapewear shorts was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend them to others.Upon trying them on for the first time, I was immediately disappointed when I noticed that they ripped. The fabric seemed flimsy and not up to the task of providing the tummy control and shaping support that I had expected from a brand like Spanx. This unexpected tear was not only disappointing but also frustrating, as it rendered the product unusable right from the start.I had hoped that the higher-rise waist design would provide the extra control and comfort I needed, but unfortunately, it didn't even get the chance to prove itself. The lack of durability was a major letdown, as I was looking for a dependable solution to enhance my confidence and outfit choices.Additionally, I found that the breathability of these shorts was not as effective as advertised. They tended to trap heat and left me feeling uncomfortably warm, which was not ideal for all-day wear, especially in warmer weather.Overall, my experience with the Spanx Higher Power Shorts was disappointing and frustrating due to the premature tearing of the fabric. While the concept of high-rise waist shapewear is appealing, the lack of durability and breathability in this product makes it one that I cannot recommend. I believe there are better options available on the market that can provide the desired shaping and comfort without the risk of tearing.

As much as I loved it (for one day) I didn’t like that it rolled down to your waist. The time I used it, it’s a great shaper.

It works well I love the fact that the ends are seamless under my dresses but the material is not durable. It ripped at the back on the third wear while putting on.

Post op tummy tuck. Perfect fit. Great compression. Looks smooth under a dress! I wear then with my pants still. Very comfortable.

I really liked how this product held me in. Unfortunately, after wearing it for about 45 minutes, it began to roll down (and I hadn't eaten a thing). I went to the lady's room to adjust it. I bent down to fix my dress and it rolled again. I fixed it a second time and it rolled again before I left the lady's room. I fixed it a third time and it tore. I would absolutely have returned this item if I hadn't torn it trying to keep it from rolling. I was very uncomfortable for the rest of the evening. This was very disappointing.

the fit is nice. I poked a hole in it the first time I wore it with my fingers, though I have no nails. Also, the top rolls down. Not meant for a petite person. Perhaps if I were taller, this would not happen? I'm 5"2, weigh 125 lbs. Got a size small. Could have probably gone with an XS for more support.

First time wearing Spanx! I'm 5'5 and about 127, more of a pear, and the XS was perfect. I was careful putting them on because I had read reviews about them tearing- If you are mindful you will be fine! The first half of the night I wore them (up to my bra strap as other users recommended) and then the second half I took them off thinking I'd be more comfortable- I was wrong! They actually made me feel more secure and comfortable. Like a thunder jacket for pets but for... me ha! So I put them back on. Will definitely be sticking with Spanx in the future!
