I have been looking for a replacement for La Bella hair gel since it's been discontinued and this is a close comparison. It doesn't give the wet look and works great for me when styling over. I have pretty course and frizzy hair and this does the trick.

I have 4C hair that's protein sensitive; most hair products containing oil (coconut; castor; shea butter, etc.) make my hair crunchy and stiff; This lightweight gel works like nothing else has, and I am so grateful for it.

I'm a curl Type 4 (crochet needle sized coils) and wanted this to work. I gave it 3 whole twistouts and the results were the same. This dried my hair out. It looked dull after 1 day and really didn't hold up to the Texas humidity. Save your coins. There are better hair gels that moisturize.
