These sit great. The jars are not actually round, but a bit squared so when they rest in the metal curved supports they don't roll around. And the lids sit well in the base. I'm not sure if the base is going to get 'stains' in it, like some of the reviews, but I bought the black based set. I don't really care if they do, because it would just be our hard water stains anyway. But when I ordered them I guess I thought the lids were all one piece, but they are not. There is a band, and then the screen part is separate. I don't know if the metal parts of the lids & screens will rust, like some of the reviews, but I'm not worried about it. I LOVE my first batch of sprouts (never grew my own before). I used 1/4 cup of seeds per jar, and I soaked these from Thursday night before I went to bed, until Friday morning. I drained both jars, then rinsed them about 3 times a day, every 7-8 hours in a 24 hour period, swishing the water around and draining thoroughly each time. THIS was what they looked like Monday afternoon. Crisp, fresh, just a little not 'bitter' but that fresh sprout taste... so good! Put them in the fridge, keeping them in an unzipped baggie so they stay cold and crisp. Virtually all the seeds sprouted. So often the seeds will have a huge percentage that just don't even grow. I will definitely buy these again! The brand of seeds I used was Nature Jim's Sprouts. Love Love Love!

Grew sprouts easily in 4-5 days -- simple to use and care for, the jars are large and sturdy, as is the stand. No complaints at all. Note that the jars are pretty large -- you can easily grow a LOT of sprouts between both of them.

Used this product to grow lentils and it has worked great for me. Doesn’t take up much space, same counter space as a two slot toaster.

These jars gave a very good yield of broccoli sprouts, better than the tray I had been using.. Love the way the jars tilt to drain. So glad I got them. The tray on which they sit is plastic so no worries about it rusting, as someone stated.

These jars are perfect for sprouting broccoli sprouts. The mesh is small enough to keep the seeds in, while letting the water drip out. The wide mouths are just right for rinsing and draining the sprouts and fir using your hand to pull the sprouts out when they are finished. The jar stand is angled so excess water drains out during sprouting. I drained in the sink then put them in the stand and shook the excess water out of the sprouts after a couple of minutes. These jars work great!

They are the perfect size, easy to clean, and we've been making a crap ton of delicious sprouts!
