Dwa4205 Oscillating Hardwood Blade

It is a great tool to increase or to add a section in a knife block for another knife. I do wish it were longer. It wasn't quite long enough to complete the job, so I had to saw out a very small section that the blade from both openings couldn't reach. But, the part it did complete was quickly done and very simple. The blade is of good quality and stabililty.

I needed this to make a 2" deep cut in a door jamb, in order to install a contact switch. This blade was perfect for the task. Had no problems chewing through pine jamb and studs behind. The extended reach really made the job easier. It fit just fine on my cheap Blue Hawk oscillating tool. I used a smaller blade to start my cut-out, as the length of this one can make it tough to start a hole.

I bought this for a specific application that needed a little extra reach and end up using it all the time. It's sharper than my other blades and I find the extra reach is nice all the time. Wish it was a little less flexible. It's held it's edge pretty well so far.

I needed to make some deep angled cuts across the face of some 2x6s. This deep plunge blade worked where other came up short... no pun intended. To keep from striking the tool itself on the acute angle, you do need to approach the cut with the blade mounted upside down in the tool... little change, big results.
