Puppia Soft Harness II - Sky Blue - M

Works ok. A little high on the neck.

At the time of this purchase, Ivy was 3 pounds. So I got an x-small. Now that Ivy is 5.5 pounds I’m gonna have to get the next size up.

I like the softness and the lightweight materials used for the xs, but it's still a little too big for my 3.5 lb puppy. It is not easy (but not terribly hard either) to get the harness on. You have to get the dog's head through the opening and one leg through the leg hole. My puppy had a hard time accepting the harness, so the difficulty of putting it on was really important. The neck hole was too big and he managed to work his foot through it, so his foot was sticking out of the neck opening. This effectively hobbled him. I noticed they are selling the same harness with adjustable neck which would work a lot better. Because of my puppy's problems getting a harness to fit and go on with less drama, I ended up trying 4 before I actually found one that worked.

A very small Frenchie might use a L. My boy is fairly small but round like a potato and the XL works great. Has some extra room but he’s only over a year so there’s room to grow.

This would have been great but runs small so I had to return.

We bought this for our puppy because we have one that is 7 years old for our older dog. We bought it in March and by May I had to sew the seam back on. It is a good harness but I was a little disappointed that I had to sew it.And we have an aggressive puppy who has to be in the harness 24/7 so we can grab her if necessary. She wears it and doesn't hate it.

This harness is often recommended for Dachshunds but it did not work for us. My dog does not like wearing sweaters/jackets and this harness feels like a little vest. He was constantly trying to pull it off. I did not like to uses it because it required double effort to stop my dog when needed. So we stopped using it for walks and used it only for car rides. However there are some nice features. It's soft, it's very easy to put on/take off and it can be use for different sizes - it fit my pup when he was 5 months and it still fits him at 14 months. He also looks cute in it. I saw harnesses like this on smaller and gentler dogs like Shih-Tzu, Maltese, etc and it worked for them - they are stubborn but not very strong and they are less prey driven compare to a Dachshund.

Fit my 25lb French bulldog perfect . I got him a size large. Easy to put on and washable too

This harness is perfect for my mini Dachshund - it is sturdy, soft and my dog cannot slip out of it. The adjustable chest strap makes it perfect for any body shape. Highly recommended!

Mooi harnas met goede pasvorm.Ik vond uiteindelijk de kleur niet goed matchen bij de vacht van mijn hondje. Daarom heb ik deze teruggeatuurd, maar heb daarna wel hetzelfde model gekocht in uni-zwart. Dus het is zeker een aanrader!
